Mediation over, plan to meet again tomorrow (or later today, I guess).

      So basically, nothing happened.

Mediator told both sides to shut up. Like how this is going better already.

Ill take "talks continuing" over more games cancelled any day.

Source who was in meeting on progress made in 16 hour talks: "Very little. Still not anywhere near a deal."

          - Woj

....shocking. Wouldn't be surprised if this was all just a dog and pony show. Just like the NBA in general. Keep up appearances and such.

That's what I'm thinking now too. Just to show the fans that "eh, we tried at least..." Just trying to save face.

If something doesn't happen on Wednesday, I'm not sure... getting very tired of this.

I dont believe the report of no progress one bit.....I think at this point both sides would respect the gag order from the mediator...

I could just see Stern playing that. 'Don't **** with me right now with your stupid challenges Riddler. I know where the bodies are buried in Arkham.'

Exactly. I don't believe Woj and his sources. That dude has been against a deal for the last few months. He wants the lockout to continue because its a better story.

I guess George Cohen realizes that he has a much more work to do than with the NFL labor dispute. He's probably thinking now that the NFL labor dispute was a walk in the park.
