@adbrandt Andrew Brandt
The NBA just sent Kris Humphries back to Kim Kardashian.

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Heck yea, if CP3 was being traded to Minnesota all the owners would be clapping and throwing a party.
Someone better fix this, or we need to put Drewski on suicide watch. Lmfao
Personally, I think it's hilarious. One because it's the Lakers and two because CP just came off as ego-driven as the rest of them. Doesn't surprise me.
It's all because NO is league owned. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't expect CP to go anywhere now, or at least not soon. I really believe the legal action will fall upon deaf ears, because if the owners didn't approve this trade, they probably won't approve any others regarding Paul.
EDIT: This is great for all funny people who follow the NBA, there will be jokes about this for awhile!Comment

Part of being a true fan is sticking with a team through thick-and-thin. Not a couple years of "Kobe never could do it alone," and pulling off bull**** trades to constantly stay on top.
This is probably a foreign concept to you, being spoiled your whole basketball watching career, with the rest of the most ignorant and hated fan-base in all of sports.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

I feel sorry for Kris because for the rest of his career, he's going to be to Kim what Ray J is to Brandy.
Ray J is/will always be Brandy's Brother.
Kris is/will always be the dude that was married to Kim, so he's in the same boat as Reggie and Miles....AND Ray J#RespectTheCultureComment

They should just relocate NO. Maybe then someone would be interested in purchasing the team and we won't have to go through ish like this.
So in essence, the owners could just be a-holes and veto everything the Hornets try to do.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.

Team is still good regardless, which is why I can't begin to comprehend how this changes the Lakers being a contender or changes anything in regards to competitive balance. I still want(ed) the trade regardless of losing all front court depth.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
If Drewski is a "true" Laker fan, props.
And to answer your question Drew, I'm from Hawaii, my mom is from LA. I deal with more ******* Lakers fans that know NOTHING about basketball (played all my life). My team has never went all the way in my life, and if that trade were with Toronto, you're right - none of this drama would occur. That's the thing I can't stand about the Lakers as an organization. They're constantly showered with gifts and rarely have to develop their young players. Chris Paul is one of my favorites, and this trade just wouldn't have been fair for the 20+ other plus teams in the league (some which can offer much better than Gasol and Odom).Comment
