Won't believe it until it's done, but if so, i'm one happy Laker fan.

Well duh, they're obviously going to get Okafor too.

      Cool.

I don't think this trade helps the Lakers. Their advantage for years has been their length and Odom's versatility, now all that is potentially gone. Your also relying on an injury prone Center in Bynam. I think everyone gets caught up in they will have two All- Stars and think automatically they'll win a Champion with Paul. My point is they lost their advantage, plus Kobe is getting old, no Phil Jackson, and Paul has shown to be injury prone.

So I guess we @ Lakers aren't getting Howard ? I'm not seeing Okafor / Bynum playing for the Lakers this season..

Short term maybe. The Lakers got to start the process of rebuilding. Building around CP3 and Bynum, if we don't get Dwight, is something the Lakers have to start looking at. We all know that Kobe is on the decline. He's going to retire one day, i think sooner than some may think. I would not be mad if the Lakers took a slight step back, if it meant starting to look to the future of the franchise.

Just seen on sport center that the CP3 trade has been vetoed by the league or something. What does that even mean?

I agree with everything you've said... except for the fact that Kobe is on the decline, I mean... he's not the premiere athlete he once was but he's a threat to every defender in the NBA. Of course he isn't clutch as before and can't shoot thru defenders as he did in his prime. I think last season was rather average for him by looking at what he has done for Lakers before, but I have faith he will be at better conditions this year IMO. Let's wait and see

I agree. Kobe on the decline, meaning he's not a top 3 player, but still a top 10 player. Kobe can still be the main guy, but he needs other guys to step up too. Having a CP3 in the backcourt and learning to trust an emerging Bynum will do wonders for Kobe.

Yep, without a doubt! Let's see if CP3 will land on lalaland, even though.. I'd much prefer Dwight Howard, but oh wait, nobody knows nothing for now, he can still land in L.A but it's unlikely at this point, I just wanna see some basketball!

Andrew Gouldelock can straight up ball. He was essientially the Jimmer Fredette of DII. The Lakers won't have any problems with bench scoring even if Odom leaves...

@MikedupRadiocom It Also looks like Jermaine Oneal will be a #Laker as soon as he gets released from the #Hornets.

@MikedupRadiocom The #Lakers have another asset coming with CP3, but I can't tell you who it is. But the deal is done.

Still not buying it. I need Broussard, Stephan A Smith, Wojanowski, or whoever to confirm this but theyre probably all sleeping.
Yeah not reading into that at all.

Think the Rockets pieces are going to change and LAL likely taking on a contract. Apparently Houston still has the hots for Pau

My fault. Not DII. But COC is small enough to qualify . I wasn't kidding about my comparisons to Jimmer either.

Yeah my cousins been raving about Goudelock and his shooting ability. Interested to see if he will get minutes at the point over Blake sooner than later.
