so 1Rose, how can the Bulls get rid of Boozer's contract? or do you like him?
I wouldn't mind his presence on the Bulls if he was more durable and only getting paid like $9 mil...

I really hope Pacers still David West...
Boozer is reportedly in better shape. I personally think he's gonna be a lot better. Doubt if he lives up to that contract, but he gives the Bulls and Derrick an undeniable pick and roll presence.

no they only offered him a one year deal (at 12 or 13 mil) and I doubt he would accept that..and i dont think it would work now anyway after they dealt their tpe

Ah I see. If I'm a mav's fan I would be thinking "Come on Sam, sign already" lol! That length would be huge don't know how it would work on the court but the idea of it is awesome..

Bad thing is...I can picture them on the court together, but will Dallas do it.

I'm having a hard time feeling it, unless by "its only a salary dump" means that they are trying to dump the salary so they can work a trade somewhere. Murky stuff.

For Dwight Howard, you give up anyone not named Derrick Rose. Besides, where would Asik play if the Bulls got Howard? It would be just like the Gortat situation.

If they add the non-guaranteed's (JLIII, Pargo) in addition to Noah (who is BYC), Deng, Asik, and Mirotic's rights, salaries would match up for taking on Dwight and Hedo.

As far as the contract situation goes, I'd have to see what the deal would be and who we would get rid of.

We have Bogans coming off the books. If it's Noah/Gibson/Asik and we pick up Hamilton and D12, realistically, if Butler plays well, we could amnesty Korver and free up another 5 million.
I agree that Boozer and his offense would take some pressure off Dwight in the paint. No question he and D12 mix much better than Noah and D12.

I'd be surprised if the Bulls kept either and still got D12, i'd think the Magic would want both...

Yep I would expect him to look good this year, i'm just wondering how he will look defensively....can he be the latest Beneficary of Tom's system?

Looks like Dallas has stole LA's title of "the biggest front court".

Howard and Gortat was not exactly a bad situation...that is a good problem to have.

I'm on record saying if Bulls have to trade 3 starters and picks for Howard

Two most interesting non-blockbuster things I've read all night:

                              1) The Celtics are pursuing free-agents David West (PF) and Reggie Evans, a PF, and a rebounding beast. Are the C's trying to become to forwards what the T-Wolves have been to guards? You already have KG, Chris Wilcox,Jermaine O'Neal, Brandon Bass, Jeff Green, JaJuan Johnson, and Craig Steisma. How many forwards can you play at once?

                              2) The Kings are actively pursuing F Andrei Kirilenko. I don't know, he just seems like an odd fit on a team that doesn't play defense. I guess he'd start at the 3?

It would be downright asinine for the Magic to dump Turk's contract just to take on an worse one. Boozer will be good, but his contract is bad. Plus, he's old. Taj Gibson is much more attractive.
