That was his point, it is better to receive back talent than to be left with nothing. At least Denver could still compete, Cleveland fell off the face of the earth. That might be better long term as far as getting a good player but maybe Denver didn't want to fall off the face of the earth. Of course that probably wouldnt have occured since Denver had more talent minus Melo than Cleveland did minus Lebron.

I'm surprised this hasn't turned into a Kobe-LeBron debate by now.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Where was I being stubborn?
I was just stating that you've changed your tune numerous times in this thread.
Whatever you were arguing about, or if he misquoted you, I don't really care. Take that up with him, I just read what you said, saying that you never said such about Dwight/Bynum when you clearly did.
That's not his fault. I have been over it.
Breathe bro, breathe.
I still think Bynum/3 1sts/TPE/Other Cap Relief is a solid deal, but I think Mitch may have to go over the top and throw in Pau if he feels it's worth bringing in Howard. That's a tough call. I haven't changed my tune, negotiations are fluid, I've adjusted with the change in what's happening. How can you not see that things have drastically changed as far as what Mitch was working with as soon as he blocked the first trade and then had to dump off Odom for a bag of Monopoly Money and a Draft Pick.
I'm calm, I'd appreciate if you would stop your passive aggressive attacks at me and try to analyze a bit more.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
This thread has taken a turn for the worse. A few days ago it was just good ol' healthy banter between passionate fans. Now it's a a flash mob on Drewski.
In other news, potential suitors for Arenas?
Portland (good fit but bad chemistry)
LA (may be too close to home for him to stay outta trouble)
Boston (could work?)
Chicago (probably don't want him)
Miami (hmm?)
SA (probably wouldn't pull the trigger)

I'm hoping the Lakers at least give him a call, unless Mitch has something else lined up. I've heard through grapevine "sources" that Barea may somehow be involved in the LO trade and that is why we haven't seen the deal "finalized" yet but I'm not confident in that information as it stands.

It would be nice but I'd rather not give up any more (with the exception of the scrubs no one wants). Hopefully Bibby isn't the complete shell of himself he was last year and he remembers to pass the ball and drain the open J. We're good if he does that.PSN: DoubleLGetsBusy

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
I gotta admit...ex called it like a week ago.
He said DeAndre Jordan would be getting big money.
I'm floored.
He'll be a good fit in GS but the pressure's gonna be high. I assume GS will Amnesty Biedrins.
I still say GS should pursue CP3 again. CP3, Monta, David Lee, Jordan.
That's an 8th seed IMO.Comment
