In Dallas his biggest problem was not being able to pick up the system...plus Carlisle is kinda impatient with young players

But he had some flashes of good play in spurts it's just that every time he made a mistake he would get pulled from the game. He will tend to get shot hapy but IMO he's not a scrub man he's better than some of the guys in the NBA right now at the end of the bench

Damn really Play? Well I believe you.

It's just that the guy has had so many damn chances.. I would have thought he'd find a team and stick if it was meant to be.

I personally saw nothing really every time he'd get in a game. Though it was limited.

What he just said was the exact same issue with every team he played for

It all amounted to him ending up out of the league

He couldn't get significant time on the T-Wolves man

I don't know where you get this from but it is far from the truth. Using the amnesty on Gilbert knocked 19 million off their cap number alone. Not to mention J-Rich's cap hit dropped from 14 million last year to around 6 this year. You can add him and Big Baby's new deal and it doesn't equal what he made alone last year.

I know for a fact that both the Lakers and Celtics have more on the books this year than the Magic.

You're right, Magic did amnesty and make slight salary moves (they add up, smart when possible to downsize I assume that's part of Big Baby/Bass?). Good catch. /revise.

Not exactly sure what that adds up to as far as Magic's possibilities, hard to gauge next years FA/Expiring pool (R. Westbrook? I know they said OKC was working on a deal. Food for thought: All we heard about KD was his deal was done. D. Will? Hard to gauge.) I agree though that Dwight doesn't need a superstar per se with him, just the correct pieces (can say that about alot of guys but...). As the roster is constructed currently, it's a tough sale to me still that they can make the appropriate changes and/or land someone strong next to me. Time will tell.

Part of me hopes OKC goes Utah on Westbrook and deals him for maximum pieces unexpectedly. Break down a clear "alpha dog" mentality guy for superior complementary piece(s).

He was straight out highschool and those guys aren't ready for NBA ball IMO

He's still really young and I wish Dallas had been patient with him....even you go back to his Celtics days you could see he had talent and it wasn't just dunking like most people are saying.

He just lacked knowledge of picking up defensive schemes and offensive sets

At that time if he wasn't in an ISO set he was pretty much lost

Now i'm now saying his time overseas made him better but it couldn't have hurt him...If he's matured he could stick with the Lakers and it' tbe honest here they need some young legs plus their bench isn't actually rolling out the best talent in the league right now.

Gerald Green at times to me looked better than Josh Howard in Dallas but again he was young and clueless back then

They did and they was boys long before that. The starting front line on that AAU team was Smith, Howard, and Randolph Morris(who was suppose to become a star as well but didn't pan out) and they also had Javaris Crittenton in the backcourt. That team was crazy.

LA signed a 6'8 swingman to replace a 6'4 guard. Thats all im saying. both lack bbIQ.

When brown played for Mike Brown he barely got playing time in cleveland. But had a great time under Phil. I hope Mike Brown at least gives green a chance.

Playmakers, you're a lot more optimistic than I am, but it doesn't hurt to have him in camp for sure. Kobe isn't gonna stand for any BS though. I thought I had read that he got kicked off his most recent team in China but I could be wrong.

I actually swear I read the same thing just this week about Orlando having the second highest payroll too. Ugh I can't find it though.

So what's the deal then, does ORL have money to go out and sign a FA right now? And how much money?

You guys probably saw it in a report or story about them cutting Gilbert. Before that move they was way up there at like 74 mil. Getting rid of Gilbert alone drop them down to like 55 mil before getting J-Rich and big baby. After those two signings though they really don't have anything left to make any major moves. Unless they can get rid of Hedo they are kinda stuck with just MLE's to sign anybody really worth anything.

Gerald Green did get cut. He led the team with around 27 points 4 ast 4 reb and entertained many. He was cut because that league isn't big on individuality. he stood out and was described as selfish becuase he got his own shot lol. JR smith is not going last long over there.

Clearly, bringing in Gerald Green and Josh McRoberts means he found a way to turn Luke Walton and Derrick Caracter into DwightP3.
