nooooooo, leave him for us! lol

The Grizzlies are in the midst of a successful season so far but routinely acknowledge they could use more long-distance shooting and better productivity at backup point guard. They are weighing whether free-agent Gilbert Arenas could satisfy both needs, according to multiple NBA sources. Memphis Commercial Appeal

76ers to acquire F Sam Young from the Grizzlies for a second round pick, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. He isn't a bad player and not a bad trade if they are thinking about re-signing him since he is in the final year of his contract and is a restricted free agent.

I hope that the Bulls stay as is for the most part. By most part being some big trade happens. I'm not even sure if a big trade would be good because critical pieces would be moved. The chemistry of this team probably is best in the league and that's why I would want them to be untouched. I guess what I really want is a healthy Bulls come Playoff time. lol

Either way I'm ready for deadline madness here at work.

I feel the same way, and the more I see Butler play, the more I feel we don't need to go out and blow our load trying to get a 2 guard.

Anybody know what happened to Rafer Alston he isn't on the Los Angeles D-Fenders Roster? Did he retire or is he just injured?

Agreed. Bringing in any 2 guard would mean no Gibson or Asik and in no way I want to see that happen. Once Hamilton gets healthy then we should be good especially considering after that you have Brewer, Korver, Watson and Butler who can all play the 2.

Stay as is unless it's Dwight which it won't be so I'm happy as is.

Yeah, I think Chicago can get it done with the pieces they currently have. Heck, they beat Miami last night without D. Rose. Joakim and company may not grab headlines, but they do what is asked of them very well, and when you're looking at the construction of a team, that's really all you can ask for.

As much as I want the Bulls to get more star power, they should just stay pat right now. But like Alt said, unless Howard and the Magic call the Bulls at the 11th hour and tell them that he'll sign a long term with the Bulls, then you go for it.

Other than that, what's out there on the market right now is not worth trading away a player like Gibson. Gibson is so valuable to the Bulls right now, on and off the court. I'm pretty sure there are other GM's calling about his availability. But who's to say that there will be a big name player on the blocks in the off season or by the trading deadline next year? You got a guy like Taj in your back pocket as a piece to trade for.
