                            Seems Portland is trying to trim salary, maybe get draft picks, get under the luxury tax. I'd be shocked if Wallace, Felton, and Crawford aren't all moved today.

                                                You gotta understand Rose that the Bulls have a championship window that's open right now, you don't risk that window closing on you for a guy like Butler. If the Bulls had a shot to make that deal and you didn't cause Allen is 36 and you lose again this year to Miami, then they're looking to start breaking up the team and making moves anyway and Butler probably ends up being one of those assests you move, so then what? It's not like Ray Allen is going to suddenly not be able to shoot anymore just cause he's 36.

                                                            Yea, you also have to understand, the Bulls have the opportunity to keep it open for an extended period of time, by not trading away future for 36 year old players who are ready to retire.

                                                            So the Bulls don't win the ship with Allen, he retires,then we are then out a pick and a young prospect that fits well in our system. Kewl.
