      sure they would....

remember Cuban is only offering 1 year deals to everyone. getting Billups and Turiaf who are both on 1 year deals right now would be perfect for Cuban.

He gets a backup PG for Kidd and also Billups size allows Dallas to use him much like Kidd with Terry on the floor

Turiaf would be a undersized banger off the bench but i wouldn't use him at center in Dallas i'd try to get someone else to backup Haywood

I don't know if Billups wants to play in Dallas because he can start somewhere else but lets say something like this happens then the Mavs can have a backcourt rotation

      Kidd/Billups/D.Jones
      Fernandez/Terry/Beaubois

Maybe they luck out and resign Stevenson for 1 year then they get even deeper in the backcourt.

That would leave them Marion and Brewer at SF with Dirk and Turiaf at PF.

Then Cuban can work on bringing in a serviceable Big man to backup Haywood...preferably a more mobile atheletic type similiar to Chandler...

In a dream world you'd hope that Brewer and Roddy really develope and start playing consistent then all of sudden your roster just got a helluva lot better because of their speed and quickness added to the rotation

The Warriors are going to look even stupider seeing how they will have basically lost CP3 and Tyson Chandler in the same day.

        CP3 & Monta>>>>Monta & Curry

The Clippers...well they just gave Caron Butler $8M a year so I can't say much about their front office.

I agree, but if CP3 isn't willing to sign an extension, then it doesn't look quite as good. Although what does Curry have left on his contact, two years?

Think the Warriors look pretty smarty by not having to attach 15 million a year basically to Tyson Chandler to have an undersized Chris Paul and Monta Elis backcourt versus not parting 15 million extra for an undersized Curry and Elis backcourt. Seems like a wise decision to me.

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)

At least five teams would like to sign free-agent power forward David West(notes), whose season ended in March with a torn ACL in his left knee.
According to CBSSports.com, four of those teams — the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks -- don't have enough room under the salary cap to bring West onboard. The good news for them, though, is that the Hornets are willing to do a sign-and-trade deal with the 31-year-old two-time All-Star, who averaged 18.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game last season.
The other team that actually has room for West under the cap is the Indiana Pacers, CBS reports.

The Hornets have started to inform teams that they're sending Chris Paul to the Lakers for Bynum and Odom, league sources tell Y! Sports.

So the team that is currently owned by the NBA is trading a top 5 player in the league to the Los Angeles Lakers, after fighting for "competitive balance" during the lockout.

                        Ok then.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

They'll get Howard next for Bynum and picks and then, maybe then, my interest in the league will finally be 100% dead.
