Did the NBA put Jerry West in charge of the Hornets or something?

Oh, wait, nevermind, the NBA owns the Hornets.

        Now it all makes sense.

And now apparently Dragic is in the trade too.

i have a bad feeling that is what's going down....

Kobe in decline gets help on the way from Howard and Paul typical Lakers fashion.

If it's about LA and Miami for the next 5 years why even bother to watch the NBA anymore

We have no idea what was going on behind the scenes. Possible (some reports leaked) that Paul didn't want to go to Boston.

This isn't directed at you OH but also lets not act like LA wasn't going to contend this year. They were going to "be in the mix" w/ or without paul.

Just so we are clear, the Heat won the offseason last year. We all see how that worked for them.

Still have to play the games.

But CP3 to LAL is gross.

I'm just going on record saying I told you so when this first came out. Pau package for Paul, Bynum package for Howard. It was the only way to do it. Glad Kupchak has the gall to do it while teams back over losing Eric Gordon or Curry. Though I can understand GSW.

LOL. I'm so tempted to use the search function and find previous posts from people who claim that if X trade happens they are done with the NBA. A ton of people said that when the Miami team was put together. The Lakers could get Howard/Paul/Griffin and Jordan in his prime and you would all keep watching.

Again...so Chris Paul gets traded for Lamar Odom, Scola and Kevin Martin.

Bynum got traded for Howard as well???

Oh well, guess I can argue with Laker Fans, who now have the second best PG in the league.

But Drewski, everyone else said this wouldn't happen. They said Lamar Odom has no trade value. They said that about Pau too.

The bottom line is the Lakers have assets. You guys may not value them but they do. Thats why they have Paul now. Assets get you better players if you use them right. NY would have Paul right now if they had more assets. GSW or LAC would have him if they gave up some of their assets.

So now what does LAL have to offer Orlando? Will they have cap space to sign Duhwight outright if he has to play out this season in Orlando? Do they have to trade for him?

I swear if it's Bynum and garbage for Duhwight the league is rigged.

Apparently the Lakers have Bynum for Dwight on the table.

Bynum for Duhwight straight up is not enough, IMO. But, then again...
