So the team that is currently owned by the NBA is trading a top 5 player in the league to the Los Angeles Lakers, after fighting for "competitive balance" during the lockout.

Ok then.

Meh. There wasn't a better deal. LAC wouldn't trade Gordon. GSW wouldn't trade Curry. The only equal deal was Boston.....another top 5 NBA franchise.

I only now have 3 interests in the NBA. Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant/Thunder(I was a fan of their talent somewhat before they made the playoffs), and how bad the Hornets tank for a high draft pick.

But oh wait I bet that somehow the Hornets put together a decent enough team to compete for the 8th seed of just around that and once again were stuck with a terrible draft position
