I just wonder if Bulls fans would understand if they made that deal. I kind of think a lot of die-hards have an emotional attachment to Noah because of that intensity and heart.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Nobody knows what it will take to get Howard. Bynum, talent from a 3rd team and multiple picks could be enough. Bynum, Pau and multiple picks could be enough. Both of those offers could not be enough.
I haven't read one person here say that there is any package that will guarantee Howard to the Lakers. I've read some people speculate what packages could do it. You and your Bulls brethren disagree. Doesn't mean people can't continue to speculate. Doesn't mean that they are "delusional" for speculating about ways the Lakers could pull it off.
I'm a Laker fan so I don't bitch about how laker fans are being treated. I just find it interesting that 4 days ago these same Laker fans were talking about trading for Paul and many of you said it would take Bynum and Pau and that we were crazy for even thinking that would happen. One day later we were a Stern veto away from exactly that happening.
Same situation now with Howard. The Lakers may get him...may not. But no one is delusional for thinking its a possibility.Comment

Yeah, that's true. But Noah does a lot for that locker room, and is intensity and heart is unrivaled in this league, in my opinion.

The annoying thing though is that there would be a lot of new bulls "fans".Chicago Bulls

I love Noah, but if the Bulls could bring in Dwight Howard and sign him to a LTD you make the trade in a heart beat.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
SO to that point some of yall have made indirect/subtle statements saying the Lakers are not good. Not many, but some people have.
Don't be so sensitive because you get (correctly) called a Laker *****, especially when I wasn't even talking about you lol.
Hating is looking at Derrick Rose's MVP year and saying, "Dude didn't even average 10 assists, how did he win MVP" or something like that. Not stating the obvious, such as, "The Lakers aren't what they once were" or "They're not a legitimate threat in the West like they used to be" etc.
Besides none of those examples you used were the examples of hating on LA that goes on in this board.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
They really do, but honestly outside of upsetting Boston I can't see them taking down any of those elite teams. They still need that one elite player. I think Paul George could become that guy. It would also help if Danny Granger would stop regressing....Comment

He want into what's great about Kobe, such as his footwork, post game, and mid-range jumper. That is not speculation. It's talking basketball, just as he said.
I don't have a problem with speculation. Go back to my original posts.
I NEVER - NEVER - said ANYTHING about delusional speculation. I mentioned delusional Laker rants, or possibly delusional Kobe rants. I know I used the word rant(s) because he was going on and on for about 5-10 pages about how great the Lakers would be with those guys when it's not gonna happen, as of now.
What's the point of trying to sell us on how great CP3 and Kobe would be when CP3 ain't goin there? We dwelled on the possibility of Nene and Pau for a few posts or pages or two. Moved on. Dwelled on Marc and Pau reuniting in Houston for MAYBE a few posts. Moved on.
Drewski can't seem to move on from the possibility of Dwight and CP3 coming to LA, and how "great" they COULD be. Hence, why I said he had a "love jones" for the Lakers.
So, can we end this debate and contribute to the topic of the thread?Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
You quoted a paragraph from me and then said yeah and then send Bynum to Orlando for Dwight (or whatever, not worth me scrolling around and quoting). I never once said in that quote that Lakers would be able to land Dwight, I was purely talking about CP3. Not at any point did I say the Lakers are landing Dwight with Bynum (sans Gasol). You attempted to insult me on something that I never even said... yet I have pointless insults and a wasteful opinion?

Your move Nets.
</td></tr></tr></tbody></table>Think Magic would prefer this. And you think Kobe/Dwight is the only thing that Mitch is positioning? Please.
Noah/Boozer/Deng better than Bynum/Gasol 3 1sts? Definitely....Bulls package is alright but not thrilling.
If the Bulls were actively pushing, they'd already be ahead of the Nets, and would be close to the Lakers' package
Didn't feel like going back and quoting the nonsense that was being thrown around when the CP3 talks were happening.
Just stop pointing the finger at other people when you've been just as guilty of such offenses.
Let us all carry on, in a respectful manner please and get back to discussion instead of calling each other homers/haters.Comment
