I'm done. Because I can't see ANYONE reasonable picking Kobe over Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, or Dwyane Wade. And that's at the LEAST.

Kobe has been ranked 7th best player in the NBA by @NBAonESPN. - simply crap...as Mark Jackson would say u r better than that ESPN.

Cleveland did an afterthought sign-and-trade, so they obviously didn't receive anything for LBJ. That wasn't my point though, my actual point is that they're both rebuilding and don't have elite talent. Only way for Denver to become a true championship contender is through the draft or if a great player (ala LeBron) is available in free-agency. Wilson Chandler, Dannilo and Raymond Felton aren't winning a championship as core anytime soon.

Of course Denver didn't receive elite talent. Nobody said they did J. All I'm saying is, I'd rather have my superstar let me know what's up, so I can trade him and get something back for him. Though it's a selfish act by the player, it's still a help to the franchise to not be stuck with a simple sign and trade.

Denver had a billion people on their bandwagon btw, after their trade. For good reason. I wasn't one of them, but they were a damn good team.

I think the Kobe 7th rank is accurate He's been falling off for a while already... He may not be as old but all those years are starting to take its toll, I say he averages 34 MPG this year

Nah, he's a scoring guard. Chemistry would be non-existent with Melo and STAT. He has to go somewhere where his talents would be needed, IMO. Not just to supplement/add on.

Uh yeah I've said Dwight Bynum multiple times. That possibility was KILLED for the most part when Stern VETOED the first trade. (Remember, around the time 1/2 of the forum was pissing and moaning that Bynum for Howard was a lock since they received CP3 in a Pau centered trade? Yeah. That was a couple days ago. Since then things have changed. Surprise it's called the off-season).

I still think Bynum/3 1sts/TPE/Other Cap Relief is a solid deal, but I think Mitch may have to go over the top and throw in Pau if he feels it's worth bringing in Howard. That's a tough call. I haven't changed my tune, negotiations are fluid, I've adjusted with the change in what's happening. How can you not see that things have drastically changed as far as what Mitch was working with as soon as he blocked the first trade and then had to dump off Odom for a bag of Monopoly Money and a Draft Pick.

I'm calm, I'd appreciate if you would stop your passive aggressive attacks at me and try to analyze a bit more.

First of all, no one was pissing and moaning at that notion, they were pissing and moaning because you were shoving it down everyone's throat that Bynum was valuable enough to be included in the deal by himself.

Secondly, don't tell me to analyze a bit more. I've done enough of that trying to decipher your emotions throughout this thread when someone disagrees with you.

Do you know who is supposed to start between Douglas, Shumpert, and Bibby?

Douglas has been running PG with the first team. Mind you it's just Bibby's first day at practice (he signed today) and D'Antoni has had a man crush on Bibby for years now.

Douglas is going to have to outplay Bibby in the preseason (all 2 games of preseason ). I expect Bibby to be starting Game 1 only because of D'Antoni's love affair with him.

Douglas is the better defender by a landslide but he is also really good off the bench...so we'll see.
