Cleveland did an afterthought sign-and-trade, so they obviously didn't receive anything for LBJ. That wasn't my point though, my actual point is that they're both rebuilding and don't have elite talent. Only way for Denver to become a true championship contender is through the draft or if a great player (ala LeBron) is available in free-agency. Wilson Chandler, Dannilo and Raymond Felton aren't winning a championship as core anytime soon.

Blame me doing this research on this boring Bears/Broncos game.

Didn't feel like going back and quoting the nonsense that was being thrown around when the CP3 talks were happening.

Just stop pointing the finger at other people when you've been just as guilty of such offenses.

Let us all carry on, in a respectful manner please and get back to discussion instead of calling each other homers/haters.
Yeah ands it changed? Have you heard of leverage and negotiating? A great deal of things change in negotiating, it is a fluid process. Based on what he quoted there's no reason to even mention Dwight. I was never implying the Lakers were getting Dwight in the scenario he quoted.

This thread is insane...lol. Damn good to have it going on though, good debates going on (for the most part). Any news on Jamal Crawford yet? Don't know how I feel about him going to the Knicks. They're may not be enough balls to go around and our perimeter D will still be weaksauce.

I'm not sure if you know what the word "delusional" means.
I know FOR SURE, you don't.

Especially when you're not even referring to what we were addressing. Just stop.

          Let's get back to basketball.

What the hell. We've got like 4 point guards right now unless...Daryl Morey and Leslie Alexander plan on using Lin and his Harvard education to be another part of our front office. It's genius! #delusionalspeculation

Nothing new, but if I was NYK I would use the few assets they have remaining to trade for a pass first PG and not another scorer like Crawford.

If I was the Lakers, I'd jump all over that. Gilbert Arenas has SOMETHING left, even if he can't reach the star level he once was at. He could average somewhere around 16 ppg and 5-7 assists easily with the scoring options in LA.

I'm sorry but you're just being stubborn if you don't understand what happened with that quote. Let me put it in black and white.

THIS IS THE QUOTE HE QUOTED
                      <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td style="background-image: url('/vBulletin/images/quotes/04.gif');width:37px;height:1px;" width="37">
</td><td style="background-image: url('/vBulletin/images/quotes/00.gif');width:100%;height:1px;" width="100%"> Lakers will end up with CP3 and Pf from Houston. Everyone who had a problem with Odom now has another draft picks and more salary dump from Hornets. Kevin Martin 4 draft picks and some pieces. Houston applied pressure on NBA ownership to have a final consideration to the Lakers package they've kicked around for days. I believe Magic and Lakers can't come to equitable exchange. Bynum probably not enough without Lamar and Bynum Gasol too much.

                      THIS IS WHAT HE SAID

and then there going to ship out bynum and 2 late round picks for dwight? good luck with that.....
                      THIS IS MY RESPONSE

Where did I ever say anything about Dwight? Said there's no way for Magic/Lakers to come to an exchange. Reading comprehension.
He QUOTED me on something, then said something that had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what I was talking about. What isn't clear about that?

I'm really interested in this development. I know Charlotte is keen on signing him.

That's not his fault. I have been over it.
