Yeah, I was saying we should tank without actually saying it. But Morey went on record saying he wanted to contend now while also rebuilding. I think those comments were made during the pursuit of our Plan A (twin towers) that was nixed by Stern. I wonder if that is still the plan? If not, I hope we pick a direction, and as it looks right now, rebuilding/tanking for a year might be the best option.

Maybe yall can be this year's Clippers or Bulls, you know a competitive team that has a low chance of winning the number one pick that does...

Thing is, if you make it in the lottery you stand a good chance of getting at least a quality starter, since so many guys stayed in school because of the lockout.

Pretty sure Kobe is solely referencing to the fact that Cuban complained the trade was unfair, only to turn around and happily take Lamar Odom for a bag of invisible money. It's like accusing someone of stealing then turning around and doing the same yourself. Fairly certain Kobe "understands" the whole veto/New Orleans thing (just a guess).

Since the FA period is going slow, I'm going to speculate on potential moves next year, if ok, haha...

1. I remember watching the FA Special on ESPN, and Michael Wilbon guaranteed that if Mike D'Antoni was fired, the Zen Master would return to New York. What do you guys think? Especially Knicks fans.
   
2. Also, remember the whole cast saying that if the Heat didn't win this year, one of the Big 3 would have to go. Thoughts?
   
3. You guys think if Westbrook and Durant clash again in OKC, they trade Westbrook for Rondo?

Don't want to derail the thread though, just FA is a little slow right now.

He wouldn't look pretty good in a Heat uniform. He would fit right in in a Heat uniform.

He'd be a legit starting 3-point threat for the Heat, and a leader for LeBron and Bosh.

1) nope, I think Phil Jackson is really done.
2) I agree, but only if there is a good replacement available for one of them. Don't get rid of one just to get rid of one. I say trade Lebron for a quality big man.
3) Lol no. Rondo is too anemic on offense, I think that would be worse than Russell being a ball hog. They need a more well balanced PG imo.
