Y'all really need to stop with the "toast" crap. It's a freaking toast at a wedding. Have any of you ever been to a wedding? Even seen a toast at one in a movie or something? It's not like he held up a post dated signed contract to go along with his toast.

They heard Dwight say he wants Billups.

If they claim Chauncey...I'll just lose it
Wouldn't be surprised to see Chauncey and Nene on the Nets by tomorrow.

Near the deadline on amnesty waiver wire, Nets are still “debating” putting in a claim for Chauncey Billups, league sources tell Y!
        What the Outlaw is this?

And for people wondering why I keep typing Outlaw, it's because this was something that was created on NetsDaily. So instead of typing out a bunch *****'s when you're cursing, you just think of the worst player that has ever played for your team and use their name instead.

So for example, let's say you're a Cavs Fan and you think Vitaly Potapenko is the worst player that ever played for your team. Instead of saying something "Mother ******" or "Son of a *****", you just say "Mother Potapenko" or "Son of a Potapenko" or "What the Potapenko is that?".

If you're a Bulls Fan, you can say someone like Marcus Fizer-"What the Fizer is this".

Wizards Fan-Tyrone Nesby(Holy Nesby or Son of a Nesby).

Dirk/Odom combo in the front court is going to be trouble for some teams and Carlisle will have the ability to go with a lot of different lineups. I dont know if there will be a more versatile team in the league than these Mavs.

As far as Vince Carter, I dont think he's a better overall player than Caron Butler at this stage, but VC is a better screen and roll player than Caron. Dallas is going to P&R teams to death. Carter is probably going to be better than Butler at the 3 also.

4 words: Finish out your contract

They made the playoffs last year so what mediocrity are you referring to?
Lol THAT IS WHAT CHRIS PAUL WANTS TO DO! The team wants to trade him to get SOMETHING for him. HE WANTS TO WALK so he can get the most money possible. It's the same reason Deron Williams is opting out of his contract.

Also, just because they make the playoffs, doesn't mean they aren't mediocre. Consistently getting knocked out of the first round, in MY opinion, is mediocre. Record wise, they're better than average, sure, but at best they we're above average 2-3 years ago. This team hasn't made much progress since they drafted Paul.

                You're joking right?

If I ever saw Amar'e Stoudemire toasting Kobe Bryant saying he can't wait to play alongside him a year from now...I'd flip the hell out.

The face of your franchise comes out and says he wants to play elsewhere when he has 2 years left on his contract? Nah...that's an issue.

You really think that didn't rub Stern and the owners the wrong way? Did you read Gilbert's email?

It's actually the NBA(and the owners) with the sour grapes. Demps is the one trying to trade him and the league is trying to make an example out of Paul. All he stated was that he wasn't going to sign an extension with the Hornets. OK, so what's wrong with saying that?

And speaking of Demps, there's a guy that the NBA is really screwing over. All he's trying to do is get something for the Hornets before Paul walks as a free agent. So if he gets nothing and the Hornets fall to being 'bad' the next couple of years then Demps should not be fired.

If Derrick Rose came out and said, "I can't wait to get out of here a year from now and play with the Miami Heat."

Would you as a Bulls fan have an issue?

It's really irrelevant what Bulls fans think because we don't have decisions to make on the team. If that's the point your making then it's the NBA and Hornet fans with the sour grapes and not Chris Paul.

That's a non-issue. Derrick Rose actually has legit talent around him. And we're making it to conference finals.

Every team with cap room should be putting in a bid. Claim Billups on a cheapo/minimum contract, then auction him off to Miami/LA/Orlando for a free draft pick. You have nothing to lose.

                            It's not about that though.

You and I both know that in this TMZ Era we live in, you have to be really careful with some of the things you say and that is one of them because all that is going to happen is once the Press/Media gets a hold of stuff like that, it's going to open the door up to unnecessary distractions like this.

Same with Melo last year. Nuggets offered him an extension in the summer and everybody thought he would sign it at the time because most people thought there was no reason to leave. And then once he put his Denver House on the market, people started to think that something was wrong because why would he put his house up if he was happy in Denver? By the time Training Camp opened last year, you started hearing rumors of Melo saying he wants to be traded to the Knicks, even though he "denied" them at the time and said they weren't true and that he was happy to be in Denver and there were no problems. A few months later...well, we know what happened after that.

Chris Paul apparently knew he wasn't going to be in NO the second he raised that wine glass up in the air, otherwise what's the point of saying something like that? To joke around with the Media? Because we all know they're not a fan of funny jokes unless they're the ones telling the jokes now LOL.
