Has anyone heard anything about Michael Redd? I know he's had knee problems but I thought someone would sign him by now for the MLE. A team I was thinking of is the NYK.

So I'm not sure if this got answered, but I need clarification

CP3 is under contract technically only though this season, and has a player option for the following season-- which I guess apparently he will opt into.

Now, is that a verbal agreement on his part or can the team go ahead and lock him in contractually for the following season?

Na I'm pulling for him too. People act as if Miami's season was a disappointment or something.

          Bosh is gonna be fine.
          @ Dex

Everyone has been talking about his aggressiveness.... Hopefully he plays like Redeem Team Bosh this year...

Agreed. I hated Bosh for most of the year with all that screaming that he does after every single bucket, but his post-game comments during the Finals left me respecting him way more than LeBron or Wade. Really, he was the only guy on the Heat that I found myself rooting for.

I feel like Redd would be a perfect addition for the Knicks.
            1. I'm pretty sure he'd come cheap given his injury troubles.
            2. When healthy, the guy is a great shooter and could get some looks off of Melo and Stat.
            3. It would be nice for the Knicks to be able to run him off a few screens for an open look instead of relying on isolations with Melo and Stat all the time.

Indiana Pacers swingman Paul George doesn't want to settle for just a "late growth spurt" with his body. He wants to grow his game, too.George, who grew 2 inches to 6-10 during the offseason, is putting in the time to make sure his skills progress.

We know about Eric Gordon and his potential, and the potential from the MIN/Hornets picks. What do you guys think about Aminu tho?

I think he has the potential to be a very good player off the bench or a fringe starter personally. Obviously some others think higher of him considering he was the 8th overall pick a year ago though. He's a good rebounder for his position and seems to be a good defender. He only gave up 0.71 points per possession in isolation (compared to for example, LeBron who gave up 0.78 points per possession) and on a 36 minute basis, 1.5 steals and 0.6 blocks per game, which isn't too shabby. And he has a monster wingspan at 7'3.25". Basically, he was probably one of the best athletes in the draft last year and is already a very good defender. Any development offensively is just a bonus.

I think if we knew, you'd know. I think if even the most minute details of this trade come out, including what CP3's plans are, we'll hear about it ASAP.

The Rick Adelman/Bonzi Wells love affair continues

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team free agent Bonzi Wells.

Wells' deal is non-guaranteed and he will have to make the roster.

Wells is a 10-year NBA veteran with career averages of 12.1 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 2.6 apg. He spent five-plus seasons with Portland, and also saw action with Memphis, Sacramento, Houston and New Orleans. His most recent NBA action was during the 2007-08 season when he played in 51 games for the Rockets and 22 games for the Hornets. He spent the 2008-09 season playing in China and the 2009-10 season in the Puerto Rican League.

Well Ariza scores more efficiently at the moment, but statistically, Aminu is a far better defender (0.71 PPP compared to 0.98 in isolation), although Ariza is much better defending the post (just x'd out of the site, but I believe it was something like .82 PPP for Ariza and 1.15 PPP for Aminu in the post).

But yeah, both are long, lanky guys that are good defenders and limited defenders but very athletic.
