So now Chris Paul threatened to skip camp if he wasn't traded?

Jasong, I agree...look at Gerald Wallace: played his *** off for Charlotte, keeps quiet, stays out of trouble, came back from 2 HORRIFIC injuries, wanted to stay in Charlotte the rest of his career, has tons of charity's/ projects here.

And is traded for nothing, just like that...."it's a business", "he signed a contract", "he knows he can be moved"

Yeah ok...be loyal to your organization though.

I may sound like a idiot for asking but whats the difference between the lottery and the draft. Dont the NBA draft go from worse to best like in the NFL and is the lottery a part of that or are they 2 separate things?

They both go hand-in-hand. The lottery determines where teams draft and gives any of the 14 worst teams (record-wise) a chance at getting the #1 pick or moving up or down. It's not cut and dry like the NFL is where the worst record guarantees you the top pick. Sometimes teams with the second-worst, third-worst, and so on get the top pick.

This will do a better job explaining it than I can:

Orlando's Howard: Trade request still stands

Magic center Dwight Howard has made it a point to avoid social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook as talk continued to swirl this week about his request to be traded to another team.

Didn't know if this was posted, but Josh Howard signed with the Jazz. Seems like yesterday him and Marquis Daniels were just starting out with the Mavs.

Josh Howard was one of the strangest players ever w/ Mavs

Dude was always amazing in the first quarter...,after that you would never see him again...

Heads up — today COULD see some trades — any trade exceptions that expired during the lockout were extended to expire today.

Spurs have gone back and forth “about ten times” on amnestying Richard Jefferson, team source said, but it looks like they will keep him

LOL I can just imagine R.C. Buford playing darts with pictures of Jefferson on the wall deciding his fate with the Spurs.

Other note, I'm excited to see some ball tonight man. Really wanna see if Rip makes his debut tonight and how Ronnie Brewer does in the starting lineup. Also interested in checking out the Pacers and what they've got going on this year. Just excited all around about the NBA back in business.

RJ gotta feel real good about himself, Lol.

Hopefully it motivates him to just go out and have fun. No more over-thinking RJ. The team could look a whole hell of a lot different if he played with some confidence.

I wonder if Timmy's gonna have a year similar to last year. It's almost unbelievable they still got the #1 seed.
