well at least about $25M is coming off the books in the offseason. Possibly more depending on what goes on with Farmar.

Agreed, sounds as good coming off the tongue as ROFLisberger. (although to be fair, he's a great QB)

Man at this point, I don't even care about cap space anymore because this is now 2 years in a row we've had that and haven't done crap with it except sign mediocre bums.

Just give me 15-20 wins and I'm good.

Exactly.. they're actually setting themselves up quite nicely, and will have pretty decent cap space this coming offseason.

And like stated, they got Okur for basically nothing. Gives them a little depth until Brook gets back, and gives a skilled big who can open the lanes up for Deron by drawing the D away... I like it.

I've never heard that one either. That's great. Although he's really good.

I really don't think they'll be that bad. Y'all have some good pieces. If Brook doesn't go down, they probably would've been a top 10 team. Maybe even fighting for an 8th seed.

                    Horrible day for the Nets.

Reality = stress fractures for 7 footers = massive warning sign.

                    Yao...Big Z...........

Lopez's trade value just plummeted. Even if he comes back and plays well for a month, there's no way in hell Orlando will give up Dwight for him.

The Dwight to New Jersey stuff is 100% over IMO.

That was over a long time ago, via trade at least.

So once Brooklyn signs Ak-47, might as well change their name to the Jazz, which will be taken from the Bulls.

Hopefully Dwight and Deron will take less money and sign in the offseason. Would definitely make a formidable duo.

Basically all that's left is Dwight for Andrew Bynum........or the Magic can play out the season with him and risk losing him for nothing.

I really can't see it bro.

Somewhere out there Mark Cuban is smiling and thinking "I may just be able to do this......".

As someone posted on another forum

As Yahoo pointed out, LA is gonna have to lean on Pau/Andrew while Kobe is injured yet they're trying to trade them at the same time. Lol

Unless Duhwight gets traded to LA, I'm almost sure that he and Deron are going to be playing together next year, either in Brooklyn or somewhere else.

I'm usually the most optimistic Nets Fan on here...but at this point, looking at this roster now there's no reason for me to think they'll be any good or can be good enough until the trade deadline.

Outside of Deron and Brook, nobody else can create for themselves.
