    Great signing for the clipps.
"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

Clippers being the Clippers if they decide to ruin their season by signing this clown

The Clippers are pursuing guard J.R. Smith, who can return to the NBA after his team in China finishes its season.

The Clippers hope to convince the athletic, 6-foot-6 Smith to sign for the mini-mid-level exception of $2.5 million, or for the veteran minimum of about $1 million.

Smith owns a career scoring average of 12.5 points on 42.8% shooting.

They must really wanna be top dog in LA THAT bad because I don't see how this would make them better.

Seems like a lateral move to me because yeah he's athletic as hell but as far as BBIQ, he's dumb as a box of rocks.

I just think it'd be a case of having too many scorers on your team. They have a nice balance as it is. Bringing JR into the fold would really take away touches from everyone.

Its more like a high risk high reward kinda move

If CP3 and Chauncey and the crew can get him to get the most out of his limited minutes then he could help them alot

If he just reverts back to his own self.... they can/should just drop him.. if they sign him that is

They better hope Butler doesn't suffer any type of serious injury that could cut his season short again. Outside of the obvious 2, he's probably the hardest person to replace because of what he brings. Could make a case that he's probably the team's best defender.

I agree but they should have their eye on someone in the meantime anyway

Don't like the Clippers bringing in J.R. at all. They could use his talents but definitely not his personality/attitude.

Who cares at this point though? You have Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups, Mo Williams, Blake Griffin, and you're going to add Kenyon Martin. At this point, it's best to keep all the punks together for efficiency's sake.

There are head cases, then there are head cases that destroy your teams locker room....JR isnt really the latter despite all of his issues....I dont think it's really all that high risk..

All I know is Lob City will turn into Chuck City with Billups and JR on the floor together...

I can see him getting into a fist fight with someone outchucking him. There are coaches and staffs that need to be in place to deal with guys like JR. Vinny is not one of those coaches.

His type of personality is definitely high risk

..but again, you're paying him 2 mil a year... thats crumbs for a guy with his talents, and if he has grown up some then he could help the Clippers alot

IMO Mo Williams is the odd man out because he doesn't bring enough of what they need from the reserve spot SG position long term

Also, what the heck happened to Eric Bledsoe? Is he injured
