Don't know where but Mason and Ireland got word that Dwight told LA that if they trade for him that he would not sign an extension

If this is his stance on most teams they may not be willing to gut their teams for a shortened rental

Still no idea what he wants to do myself

and Lamar... dude whats the matter with you man?

He wants that treatment Lebron got when he was "courting" teams in FA.

Lamar had a ****ed up summer and now his dad is apparently sick. Couple that with leaving a team and a system that had brought him so much success and I could see why he's flirting with retirement (at least for the rest of this season, could definitely see him making a comeback).

Amid rumors that Odom might not return to the Mavericks and a midseason buyout could be a possibility, owner Mark Cuban told ESPNDallas.com's Tim MacMahon via email Monday night: "We haven't discussed a buyout and we wouldn't do a buyout. No chance that happens at all. We want to help Lamar work through any personal issues and expect him to be a valuable contributor to the Mavs this season. Players go through challenges from time to time and we try to be (an) organization that fully supports our players when things are challenging for them. We will do the same for Lamar."
Two sources with knowledge of Odom's thinking told ESPN.com's Marc Stein on Monday night that -- while the 32-year-old admittedly did briefly ponder retirement during the offseason following the death of a younger cousin -- Odom wants to keep playing despite his season-long struggles.

This Lamar Odom situation is getting interesting. Apparently his father didn't really have anything more than a stomach virus, and this is coming from TMZ, but apparently his dad said that him and Lamar were just "kicking it" on Wednesday night...while the Mavs were playing the Lakers.

Whatever is going on, he didn't report back to the Mavs on Monday and Carlisle doesn't even know when he'll be back.

What the hell is going on with Lamar?

I know he is/was going through some personal problems, but from what I can tell the Mavs organization has been doing everything to help him during this tough time.

              Hopefully he gets it together.

My man has been around the Kardashians too long clearly. I get that he went through some rough stuff over the summer, still, he's not the only dude in the league that's ever dealt with something.

Dude's been through alot, though. Basketball is just basketball, everyone has a breaking point. Don't care for the whole "Lamar is soft and mentally unprepared" thing, he's won a couple rings and been through a high amount of personal tragedy. Yeah, he gets paid well, but its bigger than that.

                    Bad move IMO

Guards Rip Hamilton and C.J. Watson were on the court for the Bulls on Tuesday as they begun the second half of the season with a healthy roster against the Hornets.

                    Should have cut Lucas.

I'm guilty of making Lamar jokes myself, but yeah, people forget all the **** he's been through. I'm not even sure if a lot of people remember the fact he lost his baby boy a few years ago.

Don't get it twisted guys, I'm not without sympathy for Lamar and honestly from everything I've ever seen from the guy, he seems like he's a good dude. Somebody I'd probably roll with if I had the good fortune to be on an NBA roster. That said, he's not the only dude in the league now or before nor in the future that has been through some ****.

Rumors about the Cavs talking with both the Hawks and Lakers for Sessions.

I hope, somehow, the Cavs can get Marvin Williams for Sessions. Maybe even get a first out of the deal because we are eating Williams' contract. That would be great value for Sessions.
