Excellent breakdown and this is exactly the same thing he was doing in the playoffs last year and why everyone kept calling him Bad Russ

Its just more noticeable in the post season because of the urgency of every shot taken

That's what's so amazing at the NBA. Guys like Brian Cardinal and Scalabrine would show up at the gym and they'd probably be some of the last dudes taken (probably not though because they're both pretty tall) and then they'd come in and tear it the hell up.

Scal has scored 29 points in a game, sorry, but side-show acts don't have that kind of ability.

That's a given, I've played against Brenden Haywood and he looked like the second coming of Olajuwan against us...

Same thing with Randy Moss, and he's a football player....pro athletes are just on another level...

We used to have a big gym called Two Faces down in Charlotte.....everyone in town used to come to that gym and ball...

There were a lot more big name guys that came too, I wasn't there for all of them though...

My point was weak but my overall argument still stands. He's only a side-show act to the fans, to the players he's a big part of the team, and that's all that should matter.

                        Still a side show.

Seeing my supposed fan base react in that manner when he comes in is a joke. That's why I can't stand his presence, and want him off the team.

Not sure why this is so difficult to understand.

He can be a great locker room/chemistry guy somewhere else. We're good on that.

So who do you want filling up the end of the bench? You want a guy like DeSagana Diop, who provides absolutely nothing? Because that's what you're going to get. Truth is, most teams would LOVE to have Brian Scalabrine be their 12th man.

You want Scal? Take him, please.

Scal doesn't provide anything either. Sure he is a good guy to have around, but his presence wouldn't be missed one iota. His locker room presence doesn't swing our W/L record in any direction. You think the Celtics are clamoring to get this guy back on their team? Get real.

If you've played basketball in high school or in AAU, chances are you've played against some NBA players.

In high school I played against Emeka Okafor, Deron Williams, John Lucas III, Chris Bosh, Jason Maxiell, TJ Ford, Daniel Ewing (that Willowridge squad with him and TJ was beast), Bracey Wright, Daniel Gibson, Kendrick Perkins.

One of the things I miss the most was competing against those guys. Every night you were going against somebody good. Lot of hoopers came out of Texas.

                                LOL it really doesn't.

You think Derrick Rose is losing any sleep if the Bulls were to cut Scal tomorrow?

You think Kobe is throwing a tantrum because they traded Luke Walton?

Hell, do you think Dirk is pissed off the Mavs cut Brian Cardinal? LMAO

Let's not start overrating these career 12th men just because they're in the NBA LOL.
