Damn shame about his injuries man. Dude would be still be in the top 3 two guards in the league right now if it wasn't for his knees.
This is me hoping he makes a comeback.

I guess this is Kobe being sincere.

Despite all the accolades for Ramon Sessions, the Lakers haven't forgotten about Derek Fisher.

They'll see him March 29 when they play host to the Thunder, as if that game needed any more story lines.

"It's going to be emotional, I'm sure, for everybody, him and I in particular," Kobe Bryant said.

Or as Metta World Peace said: "Kobe and Fish … mmm mmm mmm. Didn't they win five rings together?"

"The Thunder needed him," Bryant said. "He brings a lot of stability and obviously veteran leadership, and he can make big shots."

Fisher and Bryant won't be friends March 29.

"We don't get five championships by being sympathetic towards each other," Bryant said. "He understands that. He switches off of me in the post, it's going to be problems. I'm sure he'll put an elbow right in my back. That's why we love each other."

DALLAS -- There are no longer scattered boos for Lamar Odom at the American Airlines Center. The boos come in a chorus.“That’s just stupidity,” Kobe Bryant said.

This **** is infuriating. I don't think its stupid to boo a guy, who went from being the Sixth Man of the Year, to scoring 1 point, 1 rebound and 1 assist in TWENTY FOUR minutes against his former team. If this was one bad night in a string of good nights, it would be silly to do, but no, this is the norm with Odom at this point and the fans are fed up. We dealt with this the whole season. Odom, for a huge part of the season, got some of the loudest cheers of any Mav not named Nowitzki or Terry when he entered the game, the fans went crazy when he would score or really show any signs of life and if Khloe was on the screen in the AAC, it was a chorus of excitement but the fans are fed up with him. He's not aggressive, its SHOCKING when he actually manages to knock down a jumper and he seems disinterested, STILL.

And Kobe trying to back him up with this bull**** that he's coming to a team that was already "set". Really Kobe? A team that loses 5 key players is "set"? Even pothead bums like Josh Howard played with more fire and passion than Odom has this year. At this point I'd rather see Yi take his minutes, at least Yi is gonna give effort.

Odom bricked a free throw in the second quarter, prompted Khloe Kardashian to share his feelings with the six-plus million people who follow her on Twitter
                ESPN got jokes?

I say Odom deserves every boo he gets ...it's not like Dallas is a particularly hostile crowd or anything...

I'm really starting to think he needs to take some time away from Basketball and this is coming from someone who made plenty of jokes about him and his issues.

I understand everyone goes thru some type of adversity and whatnot and Odom is no different, but strictly for his ON the court game, he needs to get away. I don't recall ever seeing a player of his caliber(as far as skills and talent)go from one of the most productive and best 6th man off the bench regress THIS bad man.

We really aren't. Honestly, the Mavs organization and fans have been about as accomodating as possible. Everyone was super patient with him as he got himself back into shape, which is still part of his excuse, how are you not back in shape 48 games into a season? If the Mavs had a guy that was underachieving at this level, he would be sitting on the end of the bench, as long as his name wasn't Lamar Odom.

I've said that before as well. I think its silly to use your personal life as a season-long excuse. As an excuse for a few days, sure? Guys miss some games during the season all the time because of a death in the family but once they come back, they better be able to turn it back on because that's what they get paid to do. Heck, Roddy Beaubois' father passed away this season, he missed some time, came back after the All-Star break and he's played pretty well since then. If Odom's personal struggles were too much, he should've taken this year off, retired for now and come back when he was ready, all he's doing at this point is hurting the Mavs.

                        Coach Adelman criticizes Darko Milicic

The Timberwolves sent starting center Nikola Pekovic home to Minnesota to seek new treatment for his two hurting ankles while his teammates wrap up a seven-game, 13-day road trip by playing the two best teams in the West.

                        Darko Milicic
remained on the sideline and out of favor.

Milicic was inactive for Monday's victory against Golden State and its smallish lineup after he started Sunday at Sacramento but played only the first six minutes. He did not play in the two games before that and was inactive the game before.

"He hasn't done anything to really give you a lot of faith that he's going to go out and do the job," Adelman said of Milicic. "He's gotten himself out of shape. He hasn't been as driven as you'd like so when a situation like this happens, it's time for someone to have their opportunity and get back in there. Today, [Williams] going to get his chance and Anthony Randolph is going to get his chance and we'll see if any of those guys can step up."

But wait, when was the last time hes ever done anything. There should be no expectations from him Adelman
