I didn't even see JVG's rant but I know these 2 are like this all the time.

Although I'm not surprised people don't know this because that would actually require sitting down and actually watching a Nets game, which we know that not alot of people will do that lol.

Oh damn, that's surely odd, Never heard that on tv ever. No surprise that jim spanarkel is doing the colour commentating for the game today. I gather it has to do with the on court product more than anything that or these two just don't like each other...

Paul Silas’s ’11/12 Charlotte Bobcats have stumbled their way through a season so disastrous that they find themselves just seven losses away from making history. Fifty-nine games into this lockout-shortened, 66-game campaign the Bobcats stand at 7-52 (.119). If they go on to lose out they’ll pass the nine-win 76ers of 1972/73 (.110) for the worst all-time winning percentage. The struggling ‘Cats are currently mired in a 16-game losing streak that’s seen them fall to the Wizards by 28, the Sixers by 25, and the Pistons by 24. They give up over 100 points per game, their opponents shoot nearly 52% from the floor, and their average margin of -13.4 is twice as bad as that of the next closest team (the one that just beat them by 28). Their epic degree of ineptitude is truly difficult to put into words, which is why I give to you the Paul Silas facepalm timeline. Consider it Charlotte’s season, in photos…

He was venting but a lot of what he said was dead on.

I mean, do you know the force it would take to actually knock over these 6'7 230 pound world class athletes? Apparently their phenomenal strength, balance and toughness goes out the window several times a game and they fall to the ground like a rag doll.

That wasn't a foul a Shumpert and it was a blatant flop on Jones. The best part is if you look at the ref who calls the foul you can see he turns his head to follow the pass to Novak, but he sees Jones fall in his peripheral vision and blows his whistle just giving Jones the benefit of the doubt. It's disgusting.

Yeah and it's not just the guys flopping on their butt either, any bump on the perimeter and the ballhandler instinctively jerks his head back and flails himself (without losing the dribble) hoping to get a cheapie, knowing full well if he doesn't get the call he still maintains possession.

But obviously there shouldn't be suspensions or fines as a result of flopping. I agree that it's a problem but I would not want him to be the league commissioner considering how he would handle things.
