They overstated it for sure, but don't sit here and tell me West did nothing there. He jostled with Hayward before the half-court line and then bumped him again when the foul was called. If that's what you call a flop... my goodness.

It's clear that West fouled out of frustration, hence the disrespectful wet willy. It wasn't playful either. Delonte was pissed.

About flopping:

In soccer, if the referee detects a clear flop, it's a yellow card, the equivalent of a technical foul.

I've seen players being sent off because their second yellow card was caused by a flop, or as we call it, dive.

The real obvious ones should be reviewed and technicals should be given.
