I know it was natural because it was the following year but damn it was rough bringing back the memories of the West Conference Finals against the Spurs, the first one we ever won and then bringing back memories of losing to the Warriors the next year.

They wanted it to be something that has a chance to be "iconic" in their words. Kinda like how the Yankees/Red Sox/Dodgers Logo is.

I can understand that, but to me there's nothing that makes the new Nets logo memorable. They use just a plain san serif font, a plain basketball, and a plain B over the basketball. Yankees, Redsox, Dodgers logos have a bit more detail and creativity to them.

I guess I'll wait until I see what the alternate logos look like as well.

If there's one thing I ALWAYS look forward to, it's the Playoff Atmosphere, especially in the crowd. Watching the video, you didn't see any good series/games but you seen some EPIC games in there.

Last year's was pretty good so hopefully we get the same or better this year.

On how the Bobcats became the worst team ever:
Listen. Rich Cho in his sleep could pick better players than they had this year. But that’s not the plan. Michael Jordan’s plan is to be bad. To get as bad as possible. To try to hit a home run in the lottery and get good at the cheapest price. A lot of NBA owners agree with him.

And they’ll totally disagree with what the Houston Rockets try to do, which is to be as good as they can possibly be every year while making sound, prudent decisions. They’re ridiculed for that, like that is some horrible thing to actually do, which is try. … That’s how sick it is now.

I have an idea for an NBA Playoff Pick em, it's attempt to make something similar to the March Madness brackets.

Before the playoffs begin tomorrow, people submit their picks for the entire NBA playoffs like they have been in the playoff thread.

Then depending on the point value for each round, you get a certain number of points for predicting the right team to win and in addition you get more points if you guessed the # of games correct.

So for example the point system could be :

1st Round: 1 point for predicting the series winner and 1 point for predicting the correct number of games.

Conference Semi-Finals : 2 points for each.

Conference Finals: 4 points for each

Finals: 8 points for each.

So it would be a maximum of 16 points you could earn in each round.

Does anybody like the idea?

Don't get me wrong Pack, I feel ya. I like the overall theme they're going with with the logo and everything and I'm curious about the jerseys and court, it's just that particular picture of all that just looks...meh. Like some **** that dude popping up in the barber shop is trying to sell you twenty for a dollar on.

If there's one thing the Nets have done a good *** job at doing...it's definitely the Marketing side of things.

Only team in the World that can hold a pile of Dog crap in their hands, put it on a Cone and tell you it's Chocolate Ice Cream and try to sell it to you. They'll even put Sprinkles on it and make it look good...even though in the end, it's still a pile of Dog crap.
