I've been one to support Spo through everything..but if he can't bring home the title this year, he simply can't take them any farther. He got out coached in the Finals last year by Rick and if it happens again...Idk man. I love his defense though, though most of the credit goes to the personnel instead of his coaching style. He just needs to be able to turn this team into a halfcourt team that doesn't involve Bosh "screen" for Bron/Wade and gtfo of the way.

He just doesn't make adjustments....you look at the class of the league...and you see their coaches do it on a regular basis....He's just not up to par...

So glad someone made a compilation video of those. I've seen quite a few when they play on National TV. Rondo is a great entertainer

Let's do it! That'd be awesome. Along with good gameplay

Wait what? Come on now 23 with the revisionist history thing here. They haven't won anything cause Ainge kept dissipating the talent?

2009 KG went down for the playoffs and they ain't winning nothing without him.

2010 they went to the Finals and lost to the Lakers in seven after Perkins went down in Game 6. They could have very easily won that seventh game.

2011 was more a matter of them being old and Rondo shredding up his arm in the Heat series.

I'm hardly a Danny Ainge fan as I think the guy got lucky and pulled the Big Three move out of his *** when his job was on the line, but you talking some straight noise right now with that quote. You make it seem like they've been the Atlanta Hawks since 08.

Trading your starting center may have had a slight impact on that last season as well, lol...

True, very true. Either way that's just one year where you can really dump not winning in Ainge's lap cause they probably weren't winning healthy Rondo or not.

I mean folks say Spoelstra was outcoached by Carlisle. Did he get outcoached or did Carlisle have more to work with? Because there is a difference. And it looks like right now, the same problem they had last year is the same one they have right now and that's lack of depth or really size in their case.

Unless you know for sure you can get a better option than him, firing him at this point is basically saying that you're afraid to admit that this project is a failure, especially if he gets you to back to back Finals. But at least I know if they do go back or if they do win it, he'll have nothing to do with it according to some of ya'll.

You're making it sound like since 08 they've just been floating along or like King said, they've become the Atlanta Hawks or something when despite the fact that they've been getting older every year, they've still managed to keep themselves in the discussion to win the whole thing even when folks kept trying to bury them.

09-No KG and they still go 7 games with the soon to be Conference Champs
10-They lose Perkins in Game 6(in a game in which they had a chance to win)and yet they were still 3-4 minutes away from winning another Championship
11-Rondo's arm is messed up but I think we all know they weren't going to win that series regardless.

Even this year, despite their slow start, he at least managed to find some quality, YOUNG depth for the bench which before was filled with aging vets. I've say he's done a good job all things considered.

People forget they also had 2 backup centers they traded and yes it wasnt just KG was down, they had a shortage of depth than before and Pierce KG and Allen were gassed by the time the playoffs came (too many miniutes)... stems from a lack of depth

That said, it doesnt matter man, even with those guys, they needed that solid cast of role players to win, from PJ Brown to Posey to Sam Cassell....those guys were uber important to them winning

...and again, you're making my point for me. Without the extra help around them, those 3 aint winning it on their own

Thats the point about the Heat, blow it up because the so called big 3 didnt win it in their 2nd year together? Get out of here

Regarding the Celtics, you made it seem like they haven't done **** since 08 and if we're judge how well teams do by the Championships, then 28 other teams haven't done much since then. That was my point.

Regarding the Heat, you don't blow up period and that includes firing the Coach, especially after 2 damn years of possibly getting to the Finals. But let some of ya'll tell it, they fire Spoelstra and everything will be solved for them as opposed to putting more responsibility on the players themselves(which it looks like me and Ex are the only ones on here who do that).

Again, unless you know for sure you can get a better option, then it's stupid to fire him 2 years in especially if he gets you to another Finals and it's stupid to blow up the team 2 years in.
