Exactly what whining is Pau constantly doing though? The only mouthes flapping about Pau are Kobe and Pringles. Pau has taken the high road on the whole thing.

To me Pau is making excuses. He's been way too inconsitent the last two years. At times he's great, he's got an aggressive look, he's there in defense and the next day he's lazy, slow and doesn't seem to care. I don't know what it is, maybe he lacks motivation, maybe L.A. isn't for him anymore, but to me he just isn't in the position to asks for how he wants to play.

I think the point he's making is that Pau would need to actually speak on the matter in order to make excuses on it, which I'm pretty sure he hasn't.

Asked about his fourth-quarter benching Friday, Gasol politely said, "I don't remember the last time that has happened in my career. It's not my call. I'm a professional. When my number's called, I'm out there.
"There must be a thought process into it. It's a coaching decision, and I respect it. Antawn was playing well, and then [D'Antoni] wanted to go with a smaller lineup and catch up."
While Gasol took responsibility for his poor shooting, he emphasized that it's hard for him to get into the flow of the game when most of his shots come from the perimeter.
"All my looks are jump shots," he said. "I would like to see something closer to the basket and not just rolling, especially when Dwight is there. But we'll see. We'll figure it out. We're just starting, pretty much."
It was after the loss to Memphis. He was answering one of many D'antoni's declaration in the media. I don't blame him for saying that but it doesn't explain everything.

But keep in mind, trading Pau woudn't help the Lakers much... It might help Pau though. Lakers issues isn't just one guy.

            That's not whining

            Pau is the scapegoat

first it was lamar then mike brown now him again

They shouldn't be calling one guys name out in the media especially talking about offense when they said it was mike browns fault

What about all the defensive sieves on the team......thats a huge problemo more than pau

Artest got burned by george hill for a game winning layup and I heard people blaming pau for not stopping his man

There is a point of ridiculousness

It's incredible how much playing time and how effective Jerry Stackhouse has been. 30 minutes tonight? Incredible.

It's better than when you have players that are "anonymous" calling out teammates.

Are the Spurs really gonna get away with Picture Gate? I'm definitely surprised we haven't heard anything yet....

@HowardBeckNYT: Gerald Wallace fined $5,000 for second flop. Nets now only team w/two players to be fined. (Wallace and Reggie Evans).

Stern wants to eliminate the Hack-a-Shaq. Or in some cases, Hack-a-Howard:

Much of the NBA is discussing Dwight Howard's inability to hit free throws, and the tactical opportunity that it creates for Los Angeles Lakers' opponents to foul him early and often.
