    Somebody's embarrassed

Kendrick Perkins can live with being dunked on as part of the game. He can even handle being tweeted about being dunked on.

But LeBron James' Twitter reaction to Blake Griffin's did-you-see-that dunk over Perkins didn't sit well with the Oklahoma City Thunder center.

Perkins found himself in Griffin's career highlight reel when the Los Angeles Clippers forward soared over him, absorbed contact and threw the ball down into the basket, fingers grazing the rim, in the Clippers' 112-100 win Jan. 30.

Perkins then found himself on Twitter, where James, among others, could not contain his amazement over what he had seen.

"Dunk of the Year! @blakegriffin just dunked on Kendrick Perkins so hard!!! Wow! I guess I'm No. 2 now. Move over #6," James tweeted, apparently referring to his own dunk the day before over Chicago Bulls point guard John Lucas III being relegated behind Griffin's poster-quality jam.

Perkins told Yahoo! Sports that he didn't appreciate that.

"You don't see Kobe (Bryant) tweeting," Perkins said, according to the report. "You don't see Michael Jordan tweeting. If you're an elite player, plays like that don't excite you.

"At the end of the day, the guys who are playing for the right reasons who are trying to win championships are not worrying about one play. They also are not tweeting about themselves talking about going down to No. 2," Perkins added, according to the report. "I just feel [James] is always looking for attention and he wants the world to like him."

Perkins told Yahoo! Sports he respected Griffin for not making a spectacle of the moment, according to Yahoo! Sports. But if Griffin goes at the rim again the next time the Clippers and Thunder meet, Perkins said he won't back down.

"If I was in the same position, in the same rotation, I'm going to jump again and again and again," Perkins said, according to Yahoo! Sports. "A lot of people are afraid of humiliation or don't know how to handle embarrassment or would even get embarrassed. I don't care."

"That's my job," Perkins added, according to the report. "How will my teammates look at me if next time I just back out of the way and just let him dunk when I'm supposed to be defensive-minded, a shot-blocker? That would be a coward move on me. He'd just have to dunk on me again."

I think he's far from embarassed.

As a post player you are pretty much the safety net of the defense. If a guard gets beat, the big is counted on to step in and challenge the shot. Getting dunked on is inevitable.

Honestly, it is apart of the game...

..but after a couple of days whats the reason to keep going on and on about it, asking the guy about it in interviews and all of that?

Rising Stars Challenge rookies: Irving, Rubio, Brooks, Knight, Leonard, Morris, T. Thompson, Walker, D. Williams
                John Schuhmann @johnschuhmann

Rising Stars Challenge Sophs: Griffin, Cousins, Fields, George, Hayward, Monroe, Splitter, E. Turner, Wall
Seeing how there are 4 PGs for the Rookie squad, you'd have no choice but to mix the two teams this year lol.

Chris Mannix, filling in for Dan Patrick, just asked Bynum if he'd prefer to stay in LA or be traded. His response: "Stay in LA. All day."
Call it little or whatever, but just another reason I love Bynum's demeanor in LA.

Meanwhile Dwight and his team of highly paid PR agents scheme on the next story to give to Broussard and media outlets. Kobe calling Dwight Chandler? Check. Can't wait to hear what's next as they try to position themselves to get Dwight "where he wants" through media trash.

Seven years in LA, battling injuries and criticism, and things finally really coming together for him. Dwight might be Hollywood, but Bynum is LA.

And yes obviously he's not going to be like herp derp I'd prefer to be traded. But it's refreshing nonetheless. All day.

Situations are different.. you can't compare them like that

Where else is Bynum going to want to go after being in Los Angeles?

He surely wouldn't be saying ORL if he was in Dwight's shoes

                        I agree with that.

Not really comparing, like I said obviously he's not going to say he wants to leave LA or anything like that. Point was simply that Dwight waffles endlessly about where he wants to go and what he wants to do, Bynum is pretty cut and dry in everything he says, not just this. Course he wants to be in LA, it's just nice to hear amidst the chaos every now and then.

Dwight is going to teeter totter until he finds the right situation set up for himself

Truthfully we dont know the real from his own mouth words behind closed doors but im sure he has an idea, before claiming trade me.

Alot of guys are realistic in their views, but again the situations are different.

One things for sure Bynum is being patient until the time because he knows Buss is backing him up and this team will be his in a great city soon.. right now though, they're kinda stagnated and they all know Kobe is just going to shoot for whatever records he can while Mike Brown sits on the sidelines and say nothing

TNT Analysts Mike Fratello and Steve Kerr will be part of the coaching staffs for the teams, with Fratello joining TEAM CHUCK and Kerr joining TEAM SHAQ

No doubt. Should have left the Dwight piece out of it, dudes got nothing to do with Bynum besides being in a Finals together and they both play Center.

Just nails on the chalkboard and I find it hard to believe that Dwight's "people" haven't had a part to do with the trash that's spread about here, there, and everywhere.

Dwight obviously has to tight rope in what he says so it is what it is. Can't imagine he wants to step through free agency as I "believe" there would be money lost in that, so it seems unadvisable from an agent standpoint. All they can do is position to try and get him "where he wants" and hope Orlando wants the pieces they can offer up.

Im sure some money would be lost if he did go through free agency but he's already rich, he has endorsements already... and no doubt about it his people are helping in the madness...probably his agent actually

He has some kind of agreement with the Magic organization where he can't say too much himself. I know im at the point im glad when these situations are over because the media drags this stuff in the mud for all its worth

Broussard has been quiet for too long... dude is probably loading up for the trade dealine weekend
