I would just like to point out in this clutch discussion that not only was Dirk the most clutch player of the night as he was the only one to hit a game-winning shot, he is criminally underrated in the clutch department.

When people talk about the best clutch players in the NBA, do you ever hear them talk about Dirk? I'm not trying to say he's better than anyone or start any of that, I'm just saying you never hear anyone talk about it. Even the morans on SportsCenter don't want to talk about his game-winner.

Well yeah. But they also won't talk about Wade or anyone else doing bad in crunch moments, it goes straight to LeBron.

What's funny is, if he wins a championship, they'll all be kissing his a** and praising him.

Last one doesn't count though since he clearly travels.

First one he does too. Second one he carries on the baseline. Guess he came through in a couple regular season games. The Orlando playoff one was an absolute prayer. A blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

I guess I should rephrase. Been that way his whole career sans the few anomalies out of like 1000000 opportunities to be clutch. I guess were just going to ignore the two worst finals performances and worst ECF performance of all-time too?

Also, I don't consider up 10 with 4 mintues to go in a game, or hitting a shot with 8 mins left in the 4th quarter being clutch, like the majority of that second video is. Unless we are changing the definition of clutch.

Meh. There's a whole list of guys I would rather have then him in crunch time.

I can literally see it coming everytime...lol. While we're ignoring things, I guess we can ignore the 2 series before the Finals too....were he clearly hit big buckets.

The only thing that annoys me is how Wade was drafted by the Heat, has been here his whole career and has won them a championship by averaging 35ppg in the finals (the best finals performance ever) and ever since lebron has came here whenever you here about the Heat it's always about lebron like its his team smh.....

Great bunch of games last night.

-I really, really, really wish DeAndre was a Knick.

-Once Kidd is healthy, does anyone see Delonte getting the same minutes? He has played pretty well so far, surprisingly.

-Rondo is just incredible. I'm always amazed to watch him on the court.

-I was happy to see the calls in the Heat game, despite the fact Clipper fans probably felt it was poorly officiated. They got the travel call on Bosh right, went and reviewed two very important plays (that ended up in the Heat's favor but they were the right calls) and seemed on top of everything except the star calls (Billups fouled Wade? Really?)

-Oops, LeBron just traveled again.

I didn't really get to watch any of that Laker game (damn movie) but I caught most of the Mavs/Celts & Clips/Heat.

Both were very good games.

I agree Pared, watching Rondo he is pretty incredible. I know everyone always mentions his lack of a consistent jumper/3 ball. But wasn't Jason Kidd in that same exact situation when he first came up?

It's never too late to develop that J and make his game more complete.

I really think his jumper is highlighted by critics because he avoids it so much. His game is focused on penetration for easy layups and passes to his teammates, so it gives the impression he's scared to take the open jumper.

In the few games I've seen of Boston this year, his jumper is certainly improved but he will never be a headfake-jumpshot or pull up off the dribble player. He doesn't need to be either with his intelligence and skill set.

I'm actually going to download but games this morning. It's rare espn show two great games back to back like last night.

The Heat would of blown out the Clippers if they hit 10% more of their freethrows lol. Also got to give Mario Chalmers some credit. He's been taking notes from Norris about attacking the rim. If he can keep that kind of play (since the ATL game). He should have a big contract coming his way in the off season.

It's really nice to see Dallas in a groove didn't think it was going to happen.

And who says Kobe is over the hill lol. It seems the wrist injury has given him more arch on his jump shot. No seriously his follow through is a bit different. He seems to be getting underneath the ball more.

You're correct jeebs but as a result he's shooting prolifically bad from the 3 point line.
