Yeah I definitely misspoke....they are playing well...

They also have a fun offense to watch with all the cutting they do.

Plus, a Mavs loss is always good if possible

I think the Lakers team is in transition, and Kobe is sort of clashing with the new direction being slowly installed. Previously, when the Lakers had versatile players like Lamar Odom and offensive sparks like Shannon Brown, the Lakers never really had to force the issue in the post, it was more of a luxury. But NOW, the post is really their strength, since Kobe is the only other legit scorer on the team besides Pau and Bynum. I don't think Kobe realizes that the Lakers won't really be truly competitive unless Bynum and Pau are getting just as many touches/shots as him. If Kobe takes 20, then Pau and Bynum have to take 12-15 each.

But, I remember hearing Skip Bayless (I think) saying something about the Lakers: "Mike Brown is the defensive coordinator, Kobe Bryant is the Head Coach."

Nice win tonight for the Heat.

IF Curry can contribute we may actually have a pretty strong bench. My dream would be that he could earn his way into the starting lineup and put Anthony back as a sub where he belongs.
          Good job! Good effort!

Bolded that last part for truth. LOL

Jazz should easily be a playoff contender with their insane frontcourt depth. They need a better 2 guard if they want to compete in the playoffs, though. Burks has seen very limited minutes from what I've seen of them.

Tyrone Corbin has got them playing well. I thought they would be floating around .500 throughout the season. We'll see if they can float through 1-4 seeds by the end of the season.

Regardless, he coached LeBron and a bunch of scrubs that are probably just as good as a couple guys I know. There was a time when Boobie Gibson was the starting PG, and Sasha Pavlovic was a key role player.

The difference between the Cavs then and the Lakers now is that the Cavs had role players who served their one or two purpose(s) as best as they could, in addition to the main guy. The Lakers have a star who can't really process how to effectively get his other two big-time players involved, and outside of those 3, there isn't much else. It's Kobe, Pau, Bynum, Oldman Fish, and a bunch of castoffs, older players and bench warmers, truly.

Sounds like the people you know are more intelligent than the people I know.

I'm actually digging the new Mavericks alternate jersey. I've always liked the navy blue jerseys than their light blue ones.

Is Kidd rocking Nikes??? I wonder what happened to him wearing those ugly Peak shoes?

Delonte West has been a great pick up. I really like his game.
