    Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion

I was just watching some of the '96 draft on NBA TV. It's crazy seeing these drafts years later. Guys like Camby and Kobe are so young.

I had to laugh after the Raptors picked Camby when someone says something along the lines of "With Stoudamire and now Camby, the Raptors sure have a bright future".

The @Warriors don’t have anything hot trade wise & expect to keep 7th pick. Expect GS to select best player available regardless to position

Kings will not entertain trading 5th pick until they see who is available, sources tell Y! Word is Sacramento loves Kansas' Thomas Robinson.

He's probably the only person that actually lived up to the "If I was that tall, I'd be in the NBA..." line you get from every average or short pickup player

              Damn knucklehead McGee

Beal said he was too focused on his freshman season at Florida to notice that the Wizards had emerged as somewhat of a league-wide laughingstock last season. “I saw a few times, the big guy, what’s his name, JaVale McGee, did some silly stuff. Other than that, no,” he said. “I never noticed any of that.”

From all indications, Davis has a lot more to his game. Watching him grow over the course of the season was awesome. Each game he got more comfortable and each game Cal let him a little more loose. He went from literally just dunking lobs, to using a baby hook (either hand), to hitting a mid range consistently, to hitting a couple of threes.

He has excellent form on his shot but needs more reps. I personally have zero concerns about his forthcoming offensive production. It may take a season or two to adjust offensively, but his basketball IQ is ridiculous enough that it alone will make him productive. His defense can get better and will once he puts on a little weight and gets stronger. I don't think he is another KD, but it wouldn't surprise me if he eventually was similar.

I just really want Rivers at #10, think him and Davis could be a perfect fit. Have a feeling he won't be there

Kind of expect the Spurs to deal Blair and possibly more to move into the first round tonight.

I'm a Bobcats fan. If they trade the pick I would be satisfied for the 4th, 18th, and a additional second rounder. That is it. Jordan will find a way to screw this up. I have no faith in him as a owner.

Starting to hear the Bucks are looking to trade down again. Celtics want to trade into the late lottery. Might be talking about #14 and #37 (I think that's Milwaukee's 2nd rounder) for #21 and #22.

I would take that over drafting Terrence Jones at 14 99/100. Could still get Fab Melo and Will Barton/Royce White with those spots, or possibly even Andrew Nicholson.

                                I agree,

If Cho is making the picks, I would be fine with that. However, we all know Jordan will be the one who makes the call and that means another bad pick of the likes of Kwame and Morrison....

Im hoping Jordan forgets today is draft day and is at the golf course somewhere this afternoon.
