Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Been thinking of options are #10 for the Hornets. Depends on who's available but guys i'm looking at for them to take: Perry Jones, Austin Rivers, Kendall Marshall, Jeremy Lamb.
I'd go PJ3 if there just cause I think the risk is worth it at #10. If not I'd decide between Marshall, Rivers, Lamb. I'm very high on Rivers probably more then most not sure he can develop into a PG, but I see great 6th man in him. Marshall would be a perfect fit in there with Davis/Gordon, but not sure at #10Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Batum's a free agent. Plus the Blazers LOVE Batum, they'd never trade him for a 2nd and Blatch.Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
If Rich Cho (and I pray that Rich Cho is making the decisions now for Charlotte) isn't completely sold on anyone at 2, what about a trade with Portland for 6 and 11? Think Portland would be interested?
With 6 take whoever's left between T-Rob, MKG (unlikely but ya never know) Brad Beal, Drummond, and Barnes.
And with 11 you could consider Jeremy Lamb or Perry Jones? Would Zeller or Harkless be too much of a reach there depending on who was picked at # 6 if the 1st 2 are gone?
Why did I just use so many question marks?
I think Harkless is a reach at #11 but I've read that Toronto has him as their sleeper pick at #8 (highly doubt they'd reach that far for him when they could trade down and still nab him).
I think Lillard will skyrocket and land in the 6 to 8 range. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Portland take him at #6 and then grab Henson or Zeller at #11. Whichever of them does not get picked by Detroit.Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Yeah I like the Marshall pick given that Eric Gordon is seen as the #1 scorer if he returns and Anthony Davis could eventually turn into the #2.
Hornets could use anything as i'm pretty sure Kaman is gone, not sure on Carl Landry and Emeka is expiring this year or next. So a big men is still a need, as well as another wing scorer, then PG of the future.
Given Monty's style of favoring defense I expect another big men or PG to slow the tempo the way CP3 did(aka Marshall)Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
