Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Might as well just label Drummond a bust and move on if he winds up with that group of knuckleheads. Probably the worst possible place he could land."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I'd be blown away if that were enough to get the 7th pick. I heard Mbah a Moute + 14 for the 7th pick and I wouldn't even consider that if I'm Golden State.NFL: Bills

Sources say Minnesota offered Derrick Williams to Charlotte in exchange for the #2 pick. Bobcats quickly rejected.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Drummond's personality isn't what I expected. He seriously reminds me of a 15 year old... lol. Just a nice and innocent kid. He is only 18 after all.Comment

Was surprised it took this long....
The Celtics are attempting to package the No. 21 and No. 22 picks to move up into the lottery.
One of their motivations and targets is Austin Rivers, according to sources.
Rivers is the son of head coach Doc Rivers.

As a division foe...I'd love to see the Celtics do it. The implosion would be fun to witness.Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
What's the word on Austin Rivers's personality? I keep seeing people talk about him like they think he's a selfish kid or something, and I just can't see it. Coach K said he's an alpha dog and a good kid, and I can't imagine Doc raising a selfish kid. I just wonder why everyone thinks he's so uncoachable (not that anyone has said it like that, it just seems like it).Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

On the court, he tends to dominate the ball. Other than that, besides having a divaesque attitude, I don't see the problem with him. I've never heard of him having attitude issues.
I for one, tend to have a good feeling about him on the next level. A nice little spark plug at the least.Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Looks like any Luol Deng trades are very unlikely, but they are seeing what could be available for the 29th pick and an unnamed vet to move into the 15-20 range.
The vet definitely isn't Rose, Boozer, Deng, or Noah. I don't think anyone wants Scal, Mike James, or Lucas III. And I wouldn't exactly call Butler a vet. I don't think Watson, Brewer, or Korver would be enough to jump up 12 spots.
So that leaves the vets as: Rip, Taj, and Asik.
I wouldn't give up Taj, especially since a lot of the guys in the 15-20 range are PF's like PJ3, Moultrie, and Nicholson.
I'd gladly give up Rip but I don't think teams there want him.
I probably would give up Asik if that meant to get the 15th pick, because I have the feeling someone during Free Agency will offer him a huge contract that will take the Bulls farther in the luxury tax so they may not be able to retain him.
At 15 the Bulls would have a shot at Jeremy Lamb or Terrence Ross who I think would be worth Asik, especially with the possibility that we can't bring him back.Chicago Bulls
