Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
NO has to be smokescreenin' it at this point with the amount of "sources" mentioning how badly they want Rivers. It's getting out of hand."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Zeller and Noel. Maybe Shabazz if he turns out to be good defensively. Kyle Anderson is Boris Diaw. Polythress would be making a mistake if he came out early. Shabazz too, come to think of it. Everyone else looks like bench player status.
In this draft you have 10-15 potential guys here who can eventually start.Last edited by DukeC; 06-28-2012, 05:48 PM.Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
I'm telling everyone now that Nerlens Noel is way overhyped. I'm not sure how much of an impact player he'll be in college next year let alone his NBA potential."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Not even going to bother with a mock draft because I think close to half of the lottery picks will be traded before it's all said and done, but I'll make a prediction for my Bucks.
One of these scenarios will play out.
1. Lamb or Ross slip to 14 and we snatch them.
2. Lamb or Ross slip to 14 and we take Terrence Jones and I commit suicide.
3. Lamb or Ross slip to 14 and we trade our pick to the Celtics and I jump and dance like a school girl.
4. We trade either Jennings or Ellis in an attempt to acquire a 2nd first round pick, and I cautiously contemplate suicide pending who we get.NFL: Bills

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
If he can block shots he's going to get to the NBA just off the attribute alone. It's gotten to the point where everyone wants the next Serge Ibaka.
The only true big men in this draft and next year's draft both have the last name of Zeller.Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
I thought the Bucks would have had enough of drafting crappy SF's after the Joe Alexander disaster.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Are you serious? First, who is Polythress? Is that Poythress? How can you say he would be making a mistake if he hasn't played a game of college yet? He already has an NBA sized body. Let's see how he performs on the court and if he comes out before we declare it a mistake. Not saying it wouldn't be a mistake but its way too early to be proclaiming it to be.Zeller and Noel. Maybe Shabazz if he turns out to be good defensively. Kyle Anderson is Boris Diaw. Polythress would be making a mistake if he came out early. Shabazz too, come to think of it. As for Shabazz and if he can play defense...umm...yeah, he is KNOWN for playing hard defense at all times. Bazz also has an NBA body and will absolutely come out and will likely be a Top 3 pick, if not #1 (depending on if someone needs Noel or not in the Top 2 picks) and will be very good at the next level. I don't know how anyone could look at Bazz and think he wouldn't be a one and done and a great pro.#WeAreUKComment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
I want Charlotte to get as many picks in THIS draft as possible. I love the depth of what I see as quality rotation players in the 1st round and even the top part of the 2nd round. Come one Cho/Higgins, get us another pick or two!Favorite Sports Teams
