    Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion

Two ways I'll be convinced that the Draft Lottery is "rigged" and that if either Cleveland or the Nets get the No.1 pick.

Shoot, I think we're about "due" for one since it's been about 10 years since we last picked first so yeah.

That would be an interesting duo for Cleveland, BUT sorry he's coming to Detroit.

The number 1 pick is pretty much set in stone.

The Wizards would love a guy like Michael Kidd-Gilchrist because of his attitude and his winning personality. I think he'd be the best compliment to that Wizards team honestly.

Yeah, New Orleans would be too obvious. I bet they get #2 though. I don't understand why they have to do the lotto behind closed doors. If you have nothing to hide, just show it!

I hope the Bobcats gets Davis. I am a Bobcats- h a t e r and he will be terrible in Charlotte. Absolutely nobody around him.

LOL @ Kemba...is he even shooting 40%? Lol

They are the worst team in history...Davis wouldn't change that. And no superstars want to come to Charlotte.

Wait...have the Bobcats ever been good enough to have haters? You may be the first in franchise history.

Things I learned from this thread:

                      1. There are 3 teams that if they win the lottery that people will be convinced the lottery was rigged. ( Nets, Cavs or Hornets).

As of right now there is a 30.3% chance the lottery is rigged for the 1st pick.

ehh broke it down about Lamb, he's a floater. Has all the skills, size (needs to add weight but great height and length for a 2) but he coasts during games. He'll never be a fiery player but consistency is what separates good from great players and I worry about him in that respect.

I think Fab Melo will be late first-round, early second-round...but I think the Heat will pick him up. My Top 5:

                        Anthony Davis
                        Thomas Robinson
                        Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
                        Andre Drummond
                        Harrison Barnes

I'm sure Davis and Robinson will be a double-double machines. I see Robinson in the long run, however, becoming a better player all-around.
There is no way in hell that Melo would ever start over Perkins who is one of the best low-post defenders in the league. Also keep in mind that the 2-3 hides a lot of weaknesses and while he made leaps and bounds from FR-SO year he's in no way ready to contribute consistent minutes in the league. He's 6 fouls waiting to happen.

I'm not a fan of Drummond either. I think he's on par with Derrick Favors. Athletically gifted but has no concept of how to play ball. He could use 2 more years in college to refine his game but that "potential" will get him picked too early. I think he's a year younger than the rest of his class too.
