I don't know what order it will be in, but right now I think the top 5 picks will be davis, gilchrist, drummond, Robinson, and beal. I like barnes, he just isn't top 5 in a draft class this strong.

Beal hasn't shown enough to be warranted a pick over Lamb.

where do you guys see Fab Melo or Draymond Green going? Looking at mock drafts they got them going in the end of the First Round and I think OKC picking up any of those two would be a great addition

I think if the draft were held right now, they'd be 2nd rounders. But I think when Fab shows up at the combine, he'll rise and end up being a late 1st round pick.

I think Fab Melo would be a great addition to OKC bench. Thats the beauty of this draft, you can find excellent bench players even in the second round

If OKC drafts him (and they should to improve interior defense), he should definitely start instead of Perkins, who's only "strength" is on defense, which is exactly what Melo brings.

I think Fab Melo will be late first-round, early second-round...but I think the Heat will pick him up. My Top 5:

                Anthony Davis
                Thomas Robinson
                Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
                Andre Drummond
                Harrison Barnes

I'm sure Davis and Robinson will be a double-double machines. I see Robinson in the long run, however, becoming a better player all-around.

This is who I want on my Hornets.

All else is a pretty damn good consolation prize.

Not sure, but isn't Uconn banned from postseason play this coming season? Seems like a good enough reason to leave if you're a lottery pick.

                        Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion

My take on the UNC guys:

Barnes: Never lived up to the hype. Didn't possess that KD killer instinct and seemed too lax. It worked for Duncan...but damn it just doesn't seem to work for Barnes. He's athletic, but not an elite athlete. From interviews I've heard he's going to be a great spokesperson for whatever team he goes to. Great family and a great kid. Maybe he's not completely like Duncan...bc Timmay even showed some signs of fire. I just never saw it from Barnes.

I wish him the best and see the Joe Johnson comparison. He's going to probably score well...mainly jump shots...and get to the hoop at times. Not gonna play any D

Henson: I could see him having the best career as a vital piece to a contender. I would love to see him fall to a team like the Magic. Think about him and Dwight down low at the 4/5. He needs to get stronger but he's a solid shotblocker right now. He also can step back and knock down the 18-ft jump shot. He's athletic and plays with good energy.

Zeller: He's 7 feet tall but WEAK. He's just too small right now with regards to bulk. He does have a very good offensive game and can score. I see him as a solid role player off the bench. If he is in a situation where he gets minutes, he'll score. He can run the floor for a big guy pretty well too. Defense: no way

Marshall: I think he's going to be a starting PG. His shot isn't that bad and people are saying he doesn't attack the rim? Have you seen him play? He's pretty big for a PG too. I really like Marshall and with the PG position being thin overall in the league, I see him potentially moving up in the draft with a strong combine. Also his court vision is exceptional.

Jared Sullinger will officially enter the NBA Draft.

Anybody know when Britney Griner will declare for the Draft?

I don't know but I believe Griner will definitely be a top 7 pick.

It's not set in stone yet. Long story short, when the NCAA decided to retroactively enforce the APR they just created they wanted to use two years of data to draw their conclusions. They chose 08-09 and 09-10. UConn wants to use the data from 09-10 and 10-11 because it's more recent and a more accurate portrayal of their academic situation. The NCAA is looking into it still and knowing how they work no one has a clue as to watch conclusion they'll reach.
