Trust, I've already read and the funny thing is the same people calling the Cavs idiots for that were the same people saying the Cavs would a good player regardless of if they took Irving or Williams LOL.

I think most people just didn't like the Thompson pick at the time, but even still I wouldn't even say the Cavs ****ed up because they still ended up with the best player in the Draft and look what he's done for you guys since.

If we're comparing Kyrie to Austin. I would take Kyrie every single time. Even though he played only in 10 games. Austin got too out of control way too many times. And worst of all he is a combo guard. Kyrie brought so much to the table.

My analysis on Rivers still stands, he's arguably the 3rd or 4th best Shooting Guard in the class right now (depends on what MKG plays in the NBA).

Beal is stronger, Lamb plays better team ball.

A lot of people want to use the Demarcus Cousins comparison to Rivers in that they're both talented but have bad attitudes or whatever. But the main difference is Cousins is a dude who can get you 20/12/3 even in a temper tantrum while Rivers just goes tunnel vision ballstopping mode.

If you wanna talk about a Shootig Guard just wait until next years almost consensus number 1 pick Shabazz Muhammad plays. Got my eyes on that kid.

Personally I don't want anything to do with PJ3. I'm not big on Barnes either.

And per the Kyrie discussion, I don't think he'd be top 5 this year if he came in with the same numbers as last year.

I've seen the Pistons slated to get Drummond around 6... I'd LOVE that but can't imagine he'd slip that far.

Is Drummond even coming out this year?

I know you can say this for most players but it seems like he'd be better waiting another year.

I think Drummond has already said he is returning for his second year in school. Unless something changes. Perry Jones III I don't know about him either. He's on the Barnes list if you ask me. I think his teammate ?Quincy Miller? is a better player.

Those guys a value are going to be overrated. Probably will end up being role players some where down the line. I'm setting them up to prove me wrong. 20-30 talent that will probably go in the top 15. Which I think is sad.

Who's value is overrated though(besides Barnes which we you have already stated lol)?

Marshall just won the Bob Cousy award for best PG in the country. His weakness is shooting(which he might as well get paid millions while learning) & defense(not exactly Roy Williams calling card). He made the best choice to leave considering where he is ranked among PG's.

Henson averaged a double double and won back to back ACC DPOY awards. He only came back last year to show he could hit the mid range shot and he did just that. An extra year of weight lifting would not do much to his body type anyways.

I don't see any all stars among them but Marshall with his passing will be the best of the bunch.

Yeah I like Henson, he seems like Anthony Davis light, I think he'd play well with Greg Monroe. If the Pistons miss out on the top guys, I wouldn't be disappointed with Henson.

edit: I need to make a note to self to discuss other teams more, instead of always focusing on Detroit, who no one else cares about

as far as the Cavs are concerned, wouldn't Harrison Barnes be a great fit playing with Kyrie Irving? if they're gonna go for a big, they NEED a legit 7 footer since tristan thompson is undersized. i feel like Barnes and Irving would play great together.

is Henson going to be any different than Brandan Wright, or Ed Davis? what 6'11 skinny athletic shot blocker does North Carolina have coming in next year to replace him?

Considering where they are picking, absolutely not.

For all intents and dolphins, they should pick Brad Beal if he is there. If they get lucky and manage to snag Drummond, MKG, or god willing The Unibrow, I'll be ecstatic.
