Alot of people would agree with me on that. You wouldnt really ever here anyone saying he overachieves.
he only really comes out to play when the big lights come on and everything is all hollywood. thats why i dont think he has even won or been close to any rebounding titles since he's been in LA...although you'll see him put up numbers in the postseason that he could easily have put up in the reg. season - but i guess playing hard all year wouldnt be good theater to him.Comment

I'm with Shaq. Have you seen Kobe? Remember how he bulked up last season? Now he looks like Reggie Miller with a larger head... like an orange on a toothpick. When interviewed, Kobe was shaking worse than Fat Albert on a treadmill. The guy needs to take some time off to get healthy, because when he goes to jail he needs to be strong enough to keep from being someone's bitch.Fun Fact: Every Tom Izzo recruiting class has played in a Final Four.Comment

Shaq averages 32 points with Bryant out of the lineup and he has a better record than Kobe has when Shaq is out of the lineup.
Honestly Shaq should have kept this in house and let this be known inside the team. Honestly Shaq didn't say anything outrageous about Kobe he just said he needs to become a passer till he gets HIS MIND AND BODY RIGHT.
There is too much talent on this team for Kobe to be taking too many shots with out getting in basketball shape.
On a side note as Kobe's future as a Laker is in question because of this case and because he may opt out of this contract he is letting everyone know this is not his team.
Think about it how many players you know who say this is my team and then leave.
Here is a example of resigning superstars
J. Oneal
Kidd
Duncan
AI
KG
All Superstars in their prime who are building a team around them as these teams are their teams. Nobody breaks a Dynasty in the making if its their team. Kobe wants his own team so I believe he'll leave. And if he isn't the bigest dog in the yard he needs to understand that his bite better be bigger then his bark cause Shaq ain't Samaki Walker and if challenges daddy he'll learn that real quick

Re: shaq and his mouth again
In the end, they are both wrong. Shaq has no business calling out his teammates in those closely veiled ways, if he had something to say, tell him and not us.
And I watched the two games Kobe played and didnt like the shots he took as he was forcing the issue forgetting he had 3 other stars on the floor. Its possible he was taking bad shots, but its also possible he was using the game as practice. That said, he better settle for more modest shot numbers this season, 20 ppg on 50% shooting would help the lakers more than 32ppg and 44% shooting.
Shaqs comments would have been certainly more appropriate if kobe was still doing that crossover and pull up crap, ignoring payton on the left, karl on the high post and shaq downlow during the regular season. You cant start judging your teammate after 2 preseason games. Although, knowing Kobe, he would still have taking some of those shots in the regular season.
Its the diesel's ship, he should LEAD his team and not bicker through the media
