Do you guys think Shaq regrets opening his big mouth this time? Fat and out of shape definitely describes his lazy butt. Kobe owned him big time and I would imagine if it come down to a battle of intellect the ownage will only continue. Wonder what Payton and Malone think about this? Shaq=

Shaq is the worst teamate ever to go behind this mans back and say these things, most of his
comments are correct but his arrogance and pride is foolish.

Without A.C. Green and Brian Shaw the Lakers would have lost to Portland 4 years ago. A.C. shut
Wallace down in the post and Shaw shot the ball wonderfully when Shaq and Kobe disappered in the
3 and early 4th Quarter.

Shaq blamed his teamates for last years defeat harshly and didn't own up to his lazy play.

THIS TEAM IS PHIL JACKSONS TEAM not Shaq he didnt win before and wont after hes gone.

I have played BBall for many years and I know what seperates Great players from Legends and
that is Encouraging and supporting your teamates to be more than they ever thought they could be.

Jordan would have never ripped Pippen like this publicly, but built him up and he did!
Magic would have never ripped any of his teamates like this but lifted them up and he did!

I totally disagree with Shaq. For him to take shots at Kobe now is dead wrong. If I were Kobe I'd ask to be traded. I mean you never heard Kobe complain about Shaq fat lazy a$$ taking games off because his toe was sore, and how about him not having surgery until almost training camp last season so he could enjoy summer and miss training camp and the first month of last season. Shaq needs to grow up he did this same thing with Penny Hardaway in Orlando. Then he say ask Gary and Karl why they came here for me not him ask them. While I agree that Shaq should not have publicly said what he said, I see some revisionist history going on here. I've heard teammates go on the record from the Orlando magic days with respect to what sent Shaq to LA. The poll in the Orlando Sentinal about Shaq's value was key. While Shaq was hurt and Penny lead the team they got a little too cocky cuz they were winning. So much for that theory, and I'm sure the Lakers wont make the same mistake. You got to keep the big man happy, but Shaq's father should step in and tell his son to shut his trap about his teammates, coach, and contract status.

Magic has publicly stated that he knew if Kareem didn't get enough early touches that he would not defend the paint, nor would he rebound. Big men want to be rewarded for the load they have to carry, so if they run the floor they need the ball. That being said, coming out to the media is a female dog move. I dont care how big he is, every one in that lockerroom should have told shaq that he was in the wrong for publicizing team business. Especially while the person he's jabbing is on trial for his freedom, yet is willing to play.
