Re: Jeremy Lin
He's doing his thing, don't get it twisted.
But it's also not the first time in NBA History that somebody has done that in 3 straight games and we all know why they've been hyping him up so much and A)Has to do with where he plays at and B)also has to do with his Ethnicity so let's not front like those aren't the reasons. There have been other players balling their *** off too, where's the hype at for them?
I know Stern is loving this because he gets more people back watching his sport again. The same group of people he lost once Yao retired.Last edited by CerebrumMusica; 02-10-2012, 09:16 PM.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
The difference between Lin and Tebow is that the Knicks are winning because of Lin, not in spite of him.Comment

Uhh, yeah it kinda is something like that. Maybe not 100% but there is some resemblance, especially the media overreaction once again.

If he's a winner, then welcome to the club because there are plenty of them around in the NBA.#RespectTheCultureComment

Tebow created all kinds of arguments about how much credit he deserved for wins. The Broncos won games with Tebow doing nothing for 3 quarters and then making plays down the stretch. Lin has played great for the last 3.5 games by any measure.
Tebow was a first round pick, NCAA national champion, and one of the best college players ever. Most people didn't know who Lin was last week.
The 2 situations aren't alike at all.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
