Re: Jeremy Lin
If anything, Lin is the spark they needed. So what if he is only dominating bad teams in the East. There are enough bad teams there that Lin could carry the Knicks to the playoffs alone (assuming he keeps this up). Add STAT and a healthy Melo to the equation, who knows what they could do.
The lockout has turned this season upside down when it comes to productivity from all players. Let Lin shine if he can. If he falters eventually, oh well. Enjoy the ride for now.
To be blunt, don't crown him yet; don't kick him to the curb, either.Former OS Editor.

Re: Jeremy Lin
25 points (10-19 - 0-4 from 3), 7 assists (to 1 TO), 5 rebounds, and 2 steals against Deron Williams and the Nets.
28 points (10-17 - 1-3 from 3), 8 assists (w/ 8 TOs), 2 rebounds, 2 steals against Devin Harris and the Jazz.
23 points (9-14 - 0-3 from 3), 10 assists (to 2 TOs), 4 rebounds, a block and a steal against John Wall.
So, basically, A Harvard graduate and former D-Leaguer balled against a PG who many use to (or still do) consider to be a top 3 PG, a former All-Star PG (who may be kind of underrated overall), and a former #1 pick with huge potential.
Yeah, not that great to me.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
He's doing his thing, don't get it twisted.
But it's also not the first time in NBA History that somebody has done that in 3 straight games and we all know why they've been hyping him up so much and A)Has to do with where he plays at and B)also has to do with his Ethnicity so let's not front like those aren't the reasons. There have been other players balling their *** off too, where's the hype at for them?
I know Stern is loving this because he gets more people back watching his sport again. The same group of people he lost once Yao retired.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Jeremy Lin
His race is why other people are talking about him, but as a Knicks fan I'm just excited that we have a player that seems to have a winning edge. He seems to know how to win and is exciting to watch."I'm addicted to Video Games, and i chase it with a little OS." -Winston ChurchillComment

Re: Jeremy Lin
Just flipped on the Lakers/Knicks game when the Bucks reached halftime, and it looks like Lin has started right where he left off. I know that stats are overrated, and that the sample size of what he has done is nearly microscopic, however, watching this guy play, you can tell he has something going for him.
I thought when people caught on to how deceptive he is in the speed/size department that things would change, but this kid can play, and unlike a lot of players nowadays, he plays hard every single play.
I am not jumping on any bandwagons, or making any predictions on how good or bad he will end up, but one thing for sure is that he is fun to watch.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
This is too much like Tebow when he was on a winning streak.
We'll see what happens when they get some decent scouting reports on this guy and see then how he handles things.
Not sayin he cant be a good PG in the league, just sayin Im skeptical yet.Comment
