That would be a cool nickname for a backcourt pairing of Lin and OJ Mayo, lol.

To be honest, I was scared for the dude last night as soon as Mario plucked him in the open court. I know the feeling of getting plucked in the open court, it happened to me once in HS and your confidence kind of gets shook a little bit. Every time Chalmers has checking him I was saying, "Come on stay strong man." I was nervous to be honest.

He looked like a fish out of water last night. Just being honest.

            Yeah he did.

In the games I've watched, I dont see how anyone can talk up his court vision/passing skill.

So many of his passes just leave me scratching my head. Its as if he doesnt understand passing angles or something because he'll throw a pass that defenders can easily get there mitts on. And theres a lot of times where he just takes too long to make a pass that results in a turnover. Im sitting there thinking, "How do you not see the defender right there and then not think its going to get a hand on that?". Its like he's been used to playing on rookie and he bumped the difficulty up to All star. The defense is going to go for steals. (Sorry. For some reason, that analogy always sticks me when I watch him play. Lol)

And then theres a ton of passes that he DOESNT make that are even worse. So many examples yesterday where Amare is rolling that the pass was there, but instead he tries to take it himself in traffic. Amare is in the perfect spot, with his hands up, cause he just KNOWS hes getting the ball with the situation that presented itself. But the pass never gets there. Also noticed several times JR Smith would do a good job moving along the 3 point line off of the distraction caused by the pick n roll game and he would have a good shot if the ball reached him. But for whatever reason, Lin didnt hit him.

But I dont doubt that he'll improve in that area. I'm sure he's already picked up some of these things on film.

You mean it's not up there with Steve Nash's vision/passing?

And exactly how many games did you watch of him?

If you're using last night as a barometer...then you don't realize how wrong you are.

I'm not on the hype train and never was...but you cannot have watched much games and come to that assessment that he's a bad passer or bad decision maker.

Apparently someone who has had 14 assists in a game is now a bad passer.

Is Kobe a subpar scorer because he only put up 15 on 4 field goals made against the Mavs?

I'm cool with people hating ESPN and all the Linsanity B.S. creation.

But to say he has poor court vision and passing ability because he played terribly against the amped up best team in the NBA is laughable.

Dude is gonna be alright. He just got baptized last night. They disciplined him.

Just as laughable as comparing him to Steve Nash. He doesn't have poor court vision/passing, but it isn't good either. I think he is somewhere in the middle. Which is fine. But people making him out to be the second coming need to get a grip.

If he doesn't have good court vision/passing...why does the Knicks offense breakdown when he's not in the game?

Why did the Knicks get off to an 8-15 start?

How did he rack up double digit assists for so many games?

He's a fluke right? Got lucky.

Lin has good court vision. Does not mean he's an All-Star, a future HOFer, better than Magic Johnson, the next Steve Nash, etc.

But how do you explain his numbers?

He also has the most turnovers in the stretch of games he has played than any other player in the histroy of the NBA since the NBA started keeping track of turnovers. That's not good court vision or passing. That's mediocre.

FWIW, I could see why people would question his court vision at this point because in the 12 games he's started, in only 4 of those games he's turned the ball over 4 times or less while every other game has been 6 and up.
