Alonzo Gee has really improved his game since being in SA last year. If he can latch onto the right team he can be a solid 7th-8th man, scorer off the pine. Says a lot about Cleveland and Omri Cassipi that he's forced start. Omri has been a bust so far in his two seasons, I hope the kid can turn it around.

I have finally seen the light my man. He had the simplest job on the team(make his 3s which he was great at doing) and he can't even do that anymore.

You were right about him and you don't gotta worry about me defending him anymore.

God, the NBA is so soft now. That was far from a flagrant foul by Manny Harris. It is what it is.....

Kidd-Gilchrist and/or Andre Drummond would be the perfect player(s) for Cleveland.

Spurs with the sloppy play letting Cleveland hang around in the first half.

I really like how Cleveland is trying to rebuild their team. Still need more pieces and to have better luck with injuries. Trading away Varejao for picks/young players would also help hasten the processes.

He could've crushed the dudes temple

( I am not arguing that)
I can't even believe anyone can bring themselves to defend this

( I'm not defending it, I'm just saying people are going crazy and putting words in Artest's mouth and thoughts in his head. It was dumb but people are acting like he's Kermit Washington.

If he's going to act out of control then punish him like he is, plain and simple

I think based on past instances like this 3-5 games are in order

If you're going to tell me he lost it then he belongs out of the game because he's not stable and a danger to other players

Did not say this. I think this was a thought out, "I'm gonna light this fool up"-situation

If you tell me he did it on purpose he needs a severe punishment to put an end to crap like that.
We can go back and forth on this all night and never change each other's minds. I hope Harden is ok and I would hate to see either team negatively effected in the playoffs because of something that happened today. Ultimately the punishment is in Stu Jackson's hands. Glad to be back in the bball forums.

Accidentally poking a guy in the eye while in the air shouldn't be a flagrant. That's totally different then elbowing a guy in the ribs (Bynum), head (Artest) or neck (Kobe). Harris was making a play for the ball and poked Danny Green in his eye.

I just watched my first Bobcats game of the year and man does Time Warner Cable Arena seem like a miserable place. So many empty seats, so much silence, so little hope. Paul Silas' demeanor in the press conference is utterly defeated lol. I guess with this many loses there isn't much room for optimism. Maybe they'll get Anthony Davis and breathe some life into the place. I'm surprised to see them getting a nationally televised game this week vs. my Knicks, but they'll be going up against the NFL draft, so I'm sure I won't watch most of the blowout.

If I'm bashing Mike Miller now, then that should tell you it's more than the last 2 games for me since I used to defend the dude on here plenty of times while Ex was trashing him lol.

I'm guessing whatever mental/hormonal issue Artest has was triggered by all the adrenaline built up to that point, and the dunk just sent him into incredible hulk mode. Dude was beating his chest/throwing elbows well after he clobbered Harden. He didn't care who was in the way - he was so amped he could've elbowed a teammate.

With that said, if dude can have that severe of hormonal imbalance where he turns into a primate, then it might be time to consider him not fit to play in the NBA.
