    Good God man.

It was bad form from Ron and he deserves a good 5 games, but some are going way overboard, as usual.

He should be banned the entire postseason? Dropping the banhammer?

    Please
yeah I said drop the hammer down
also said 5 games just like you
but let's not group everyone's comments as if it were one

I hate to see any city/state lose their team but I understand why it's being done. There's been some good memories there but unfortunately the bad memories are the one's that get the attention because they weren't good for most of their time there.

Hopefully "it's all new" in Brooklyn next year like they've been screaming as far as the ON the court product goes, although it sucks they're charging some damn high prices for their tickets even though the product does/has stunk for so long but it is what it is.

Two players that I really hope that are there are the Two Geralds(Green/Wallace):

“That was scary,” DeShawn Stevenson said of the tumble Saturday. “His knee got taken out. I think he should shut it down. He wants to play. [Nets guard Deron Williams] told him to shut it down, too.”

Wallace, not surprisingly, hasn’t been receptive to their suggestions.

“No,” Wallace told The Record when asked if he’d consider taking the final two games off. "They’re going to have to shut me down. I’m going to play this game until I can’t play no more.

“So if they don’t want me to play, they’re gonna have to shut me down. They can’t ask me if I’m gonna play. I’m going to play.”

Pretty sure if the Twolves were in playoff running he wouldn't have been "ruled out". But he was out 11 days before he was cleared. If Harden is out as long, think it's safe to say he could miss Game 1 & 2 in the first round.

Oh I didn't know K Love was cleared...hopefully Harden isn't out that long....the Mavs give OKC enough fits with Harden...

Assuming they are still the 2nd seed

Still don't get how people can just say that and then have folks not wanting him to 'get the banhammer.' He cocked back when clearly he had to feel the body of Harden touch him and he rose that elbow above the shoulder and swung. The biggest problem with the argument of it not being vicious or intentional is the fact that he didn't check on him at all afterwards. And you don't have to physically go over to him to check, you could at least look back to see what your elbow hit, but he just kept on going and tried to play it off with one extra lonely *** chest pound with the other hand like that was part of the sequence.

After reading some articles and listening to what some NBA insiders are saying, I think Ron will get about 10 games.

If he does get somewhere around 10 games, he deserves it.

It's not like Ron is a first, or second, or third time offender. He has a history.

I'm confused. Some of you all thought Jason Smith should've gotten five games too. So what Jason Smith did is on the same level as Ron Ron?

What do you think of DeShawn Stevenson? I wasn't able to keep up with him as much this year, obviously, but did he do enough to warrant you wanting him back? Because we'll gladly take him back in Dallas.

I'am tottaly not saying it isn't bad or that MWP isn't responsible for his act. Not at all. It was terrible and he should be heavily punished. At this very moment he meant to elbows Harden, he's lost his mind for a second.

He's really done a masterful job in his 2 seasons here. Players seems to buy into his system and play hard every night, like a lot of the plays he runs as well. I want to think that if Eric Gordon was healthy we'd have been in competition for the 8th seed, but the future could be exciting if they hit in the draft this year.

Harden has a concussion. This isn't 1990. We know how bad concussions are. And it could've been worse. Harden could have a broken jaw or orbital bone (the latter can cause serious eye trauma).

At first I thought Harden was bumping into Artest to stop the celebration too. Not that that in any way provokes an elbow to the friggin head, but still. But after seeing the replay some more, dude was getting into position for the inbound. He was looking at the ball the whole time. I'm not saying that he couldn't have avoided Artest (I refuse to call a guy that elbows people "World Peace"), but it's not like he was going out of his way to get in Artest's grill, like some people seem to be claiming.
