So there was a contest prior to them selecting the team name, in which the name "Flight" was chosen...then whomever is in charge said "F*** that. I like the Bobcats."?? Lol

Named after a failed former owner when it wasn't even our choice.

I was disappointed that my team name of the Charlotte Retractions didn't make the list. Its very catchy.

All three name choices (Flight, Dragons, Bobcats) were pretty bad, but Bobcats is the lesser of the evils IMO.

You know how much money it'll cost the Bobcats to switch logos on all their ****? New court, new jerseys, new graphics on all their products, etc. Jordan is such a cheap bastard, I wouldn't be surprised if everything works out perfectly for them to get the name back and he'd not do it.
