    Nuggest vs Cavaliers

Tonight is the first time these teams will meet. It's funny how these two teams were at the bottom of the barrell last year, getting no notice what-so-ever from the country, and now, they are ESPN national broadcast worthy. Just because of 2 teenagers. They both won 17 games last season, the worst in the L. They both have new uni's and a new look this year. There is no where for either team to go now but up.

How do you guys think tonights game will go? Who do you think will win? Does this game even deserve the spotlight?

Personally, I think the Cavs will win tonight, with LeBron getting the better numbers than Melo. But the key won't be the teenager from Akron on Cleveland. It'll be Ricky Davis, and more importantly, the big Z in the center. If they can get that guy off, he'll be the difference maker. I think the Cavs have too many weapons for the Nuggets to handle.

As for if this spotlight is worth it. I don't think so. . . . but I'll be watching anyways.

It may not be worth it but atleast it's generating some renewed interest in the NBA. I know alot of people who don't really pay attention to the NBA that are going to watch this game.

As for a prediction I will agree with you. I think the Cavs get their first W of the season tonight, especially if the nuggets look like they did last night. Hopefully Melo does better than 1-13 from the floor tonight.

It's a shame that this game gets shown tonight instead of matchups of actual playoff teams like Celtics vs. Pistons and Hornets vs. Sixers, but oh well.

As for the game, I think the Cavs will win their home debut as well. But it's going to be a really competitive, hard-fought game.

The game is definitely worth the spotlight, WHY?, because more people will watch it than a Celtics or Pistons game. As for predictions, the Nuggets will win because they are the better team and Carmello is the better player. Cavs have much more talent, but they don't use it right....they need to find a real coach and quick.....someone like Jeff Van Gundy, who would know right away that the offense should thrive around Big Z, cause that man is the truth...He would also know that Miles belongs in the locker room, not the court. Not to mention the fact that Lebron shouldn't be handling the ball, considering he has no handles...his passing skills make up for it when he gets in trouble though.

You don't consider Paul Silas a real coach? He is one of the best out there, IMO. He is great at teaching and is really good with players. I think he is a really good fit for this team.

The only reason the Cavs are 0-3 at this point is because they went on a road trip to start the season at 3 of the toughest places to play. They played in Sac, Phoenix, and then Portland. That's gotta be tough for any team to do.

I agree that the offense should go thru Z, cause I don't think anyone can stop him in the east. Miles, tho still can't shoot, is getting better. He doesn't belong in the locker room, but I don't know if he should start. He still needs to work on his game. As for LeBron handling the point, who else would you want there? The Cavs only have JR Bremer and Kevin Ollie to handle it. I'd rather have LeBron doing what he does.

And how can you say that Melo is the better player? LeBron's numbers are so much better than his.
