Look at the moves they've made over the last few years. Did any of those look like moves that were made with the future in mind or with the now in mind?

When I say future, I mean like 2-3 years and beyond, also. Longevity so to speak...

Game 6 tonight, win or go home for the Bulls again. They got they're little win at home playing like they should have played all series. I'm going into this expecting a very big egg to be layed and the Sixers and Celtics to move on tonight. Deng disappears back into thin air, Boozer does Boozer and someone else gets hurt just cause that's what we've been doomed to this year. What a crappy end to a promising year.

Tanking 2+ years to clean up an awful cap situation wasn't done with the future in mind?

The Knicks are a win-now situation, they've got three years left with STAT/Melo/Chandler on the books. There is no "beyond" with this team, there's no way the core stays in tact after their three contracts expire. If this fails, which it likely will, then we blow it up and start over in 2015-16.

What move have they made so far that's been a bad move or short-sighted? The Melo trade? Signing Amare? Amnestying Billups to get Chandler?

Amare has been a bust but it still wasn't a bad move at the time, it had to be done to try to get LeBron or Wade. You don't waste three seasons to be timid when it comes time to pull the trigger, they had to take a chance and they did.

I would have waited on the Melo deal but in hindsight it worked out well because it eventually led to us getting Chandler. If we don't pull the trigger on that deal then who knows what our roster would look like (including Melo, maybe he goes elsewhere in FA) but it's pretty much a guarantee that Chandler wouldn't be on it.

Chandler was obviously a good move, you can get decent PG with an exception but not a decent center. The Knicks need their fourth piece and they need to get it this summer or then I'll finally start to panic.

I'm hoping Rondo goes off tonight, because I'm worried about Pierce. I just don't think his quickness will be there.
