Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread

Man this Rose injury really sucks and kills the playoffs for me too like a couple of other Bulls fans said. I haven't looked forward to a playoffs this much since MJ was playing and now our hopes are crushed day one. Combine this with the Kendall Marshall injury and this basketball season has really sucked come playoff/tourny time for me.

Count me in the group that doesn't blame Thibs at all either. Yeah sure Rose could have been on the bench but that's how we play and there are many of times other teams have had starters still on the floor with a 10 or 12 point lead with close to two minutes left. It just sucks that it happened like this.

I really feel bad for Rose man. The kid works and plays so hard and it just sucks to see an already hard season for him end like this. I hope he makes a full recovery and takes the time needed to be 100 percent not just as a huge Bulls fan but as a basketball fan period. Damn this sucks.

I never bought into Boston being a huge threat. New York was playing great too. I think the Bulls with or without Rose can get it done against them.

Huh, free agency? Rosters are finalized prior to the start off the playoffs.

I feel y'all pain, Bulls fans. Spurs had two playoff runs ('00 & '08) ruined by injuries. Worse damn feeling in the world.

Orlando has no business being up in the game. They've got a lot heart being up in this game, but it would be a huge step back if Indiana lost. Oh, and I repeat George Hill isn't a quality point guard. Great combo guard (ala Lou Williams and Jason Terry), but he has very limited PG skills. I'm still thankful we go Kawhi Leonard for him.

Just because Boston is terrible at rebounding dose not mean that can't beat Chicago. Authentic what I'm saying is that of course Chicago is the best defensive teams in the nba but, so are the celtics. Without rose who are you going to deng, Carlos boozer? I'm just saying Boston has more scoring options and a good defense making it an advantage for the celtics.

I didn't say they couldn't beat Chicago. I don't think they will, but I never said they couldn't. At this point after today I wouldn't say anybody besides the Magic couldn't beat the Bulls in these East playoffs.

This statement here is over rated. In my opinion, people are too HIGH on the Celtics. They have played solid basketball but they are/were not the hottest team out of the all-star break. The Bulls, without Rose, had a better record. Their situation was just blown up because they made a push to the top tier of the eastern conference.

I am not saying the Celtics would lose to the Bulls in a 7 game series. I am just saying the above statement needs to die. Bulls against Celtics will be a great series without Rose. Bulls have edge on defense, Celtics have edge on offense. It's hard for me to predict who would win if I looked at the series without bias.

I haven't really seen one person blame Thibbs.

If Chicago fans aren't upset that Rose was in the game, cool.

All I said was if I were a Bulls fan, I would be upset. Not placing the blame on him, just questioning why in the hell he would be in there.. "if that's how the Bulls operate", cool. I think it's silly to keep your starters in. It doesn't make any sense.

Lets see what Indiana could do hear.

Magic just can't score in the paint.

Ironically even though this was a major buzzkill, I still think the Bulls will still make it to the ECF.

Why does this game have to be close? I am supposed to be studying and doing homework right now.
