    Al Iannazzone @ Al_Iannazzone

Woodson just said it's a strong possibility Chandler won't play Game 1.

-Bulls over Philly in 4 games - X factor: Rose/Boozer.

Philly's overall team defense is on the same level as the Bulls for the most part. But the difference is - Philly's interior D is pretty weak - and if boozer steps up, the bulls could make easy work of the 76ers. And as much as I like Jrue's defense, I don't think he's ever been able to stop Derrick Rose.

-Miami over NYK in 5 games - X factor: Mario Chalmers

Sorry Knicks fans but I see the train abruptly stopping here. This in my opinion will be the ugliest series of the first round. For one the Knicks have no good point guard. Baron Davis has a higher TO rate than Jeremy Lin (didn't think that was possible). So who's going to bring the ball up under Miami pressure - JR Smith? And let's face it - the Carmelo iso on Lebron James isn't going to work. Amare iso on....well....anybody isn't going to work. Screens for JR Smith and Novak on the perimeter isn't going to work. Linsanity (if he makes it back) isn't going to work. Honestly, the only recourse here for the knicks is to start throwing Artest elbows

Edit: I added one game as I think there will be a game where Melo and JR go unconscious with their shooting

-Indiana over Orlando in 5 - X factor: The Indiana Bench (because they will be playing most of the minutes)

Only reason I don't give it to Indiana in 4 is because they are a young team, and I think they'll get cocky on one of these games. And Orlando guys can (not consistently, but they can) play with a lot of heart.

But let's be honest, this is no contest.

-Boston over Atlanta in 6 games* - X factor: Ray Allen

Hawks as a team overall is an X factor. They've beat some pretty good teams (Chicago, Miami, OKC, Indiana twice) so they are not weak sauce. But they seem to have some kryptonite that certain teams (some not even that good) can just exploit willing. Meanwhile Boston has elevated its game to Championship level, and even if Hawks had All Star Al Horford, I still don't see them getting around the C's.

*Shorter series if Ray Allen returns in full form.

You do you realize you just compared Tyson Chandler to the GOAT, right?

                        IND in 4....c'mon son
MIA in 5.....don't think it will be tight as advertised
                        BOS in 5.....same 'ol ATL
CHI in 5.....too much D from CHI, not enough O from PHI

MIA in 6.....I think IND wins 2 at home
CHI in 7.....I think Boston pushes CHI to the limit

MIA in 6.....I think the series is nearly identical to last year with the same result...CHI takes 1 more though...just think MIA has that extra gear in them that makes them tough to beat...

Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.
